The most requested video yet! Here is how to get to the East Plains lake as a Deinosuchus from Water Access on the Gateway map since the recent update that removed the north-east water spawn for Deinos!

Since that update, getting to East Plains is harder, but not by that much. Here is how to do it exactly!

love travelling to all the water spots in the game as full deino! so much fun...just a struggle at times on diet but elite fish and scavenging does help. hoping mutations comes soon to drink saltwater which will be a game changer for travel

I’ve made it to east lake, died a few times tho, but if you go to that small pond (-168, 248) you can easily make it to the south end of the northeast plains river, hydrate, and then haul ass SE all the way to the East pond. If you have a good diet you can regenerate Stam faster and overall there’s less traffic. Idk why deino has only one spawn location…

You can pretty much “walk” down every waterfall in the river. When you get to the edge of a waterfall you’ll be dragged to the floor. You can fall down to extruding rocks and then fall into the river. It’s a lot faster than going around

Love the Video, but you can swim all the way to the end, into the little Cave and then over the little Rock, if you are there you can just swim up and you get above the Waterfall where everyone drinks LAT: -148 Long: 355

Do not do it as a full grown! You are meant to do it at around 40-42% growth after the recent update!

You can do this trek at any growth stage. You will take a bit more damage as an adult but you can still make it. I would advise to not rest while walking. Sprint only until about 60-70% stamina and then walk. You'll slowly recover and then you can repeat the process. Another word of advice is to do this while the server isn't at peak hours. You'll just get harassed and more than likely killed on the attempt.

The first time I swam this river, I've fallen into that trap as well.. always be suspicious of seeing S in remote areas, because there is a good reason they died there. o.o Scary..@@cool_girI

90% of the time I spawn Water Access, it's pitch black and I am in the middle of the jungle nowhere near any source of water. I try to smell for water and never get any scent. I try to pick a direction to go in and find water, and I lose stamina instantly and have to stand still forever until I have enough stamina to run. Then I die of dehydration. Is there a way to always figure out where the actual lake at Water Access is or do you just literally have to get lucky and spawn somewhere near it and have it be light enough to see?

Fair question! However, I’ve answered this at the Beginning: always head North when you spawn, and you will eventually reach it, since you always spawn either in the lake, or to the south of it!

Keep trying. This is the method, just need to get lucky and not get any dinosaurs on the way! Plus be fully hydrated before you go.

since last patch im not able anymore to get to east lake8(i was able to get there almost without triggering thirst) , but hey we can finally see underwater

@@masonmcginley9121 i think it's both faster dehy and stamina usage/overall speed. really,i went from reaching lake with no dehydration to litterally not being able to scent water from distance

How do you make this without losing all ur water and being yellow/orange/red health? Is there no way? And ive been attempting this in an empty server on this months Horde test, and it seems like they made it impossible 💀

i hate those deinos, east plains was supossed to be a place to juvs grow safelly, but devs hate AI in a point that Deinos need to move to east plains only to survive eating JUVS!

This was before the recent update! Now you need to be more grown, around 40%-70%, because your water depletes far quicker, and you can afford far fewer mistakes. But this route still works!

it doesnt worth... i did it once and before i get into the water another croc killed me... its shitty plan... i did alllll this way to die when i reached there ( i was 60% )

Honestly there’s almost no point in growing a deino rn you’ll either starve or get killed by another deino 😂

The adventure of it is trying to grow it to Adulthood while avoiding all the other Deinos and predators! It is a really fun challenge, and once you do it, you can fight back against cannibals! But they usually are too scared to attack you once you are fully grown, unless they bring a friend and they 2v1 you.. xD

It is much more difficult now and requires more optimization, I am currently making a new method that works better with the update, but this is still a good method if you are at least 40% growth!

@@user-gx6co7pf1f Your Deinosuchus needs to be 40% or bigger to have enough endurance to reach the lake without drying out! We are currently testing the exact numbers.
