What I watched was a magnificent performance that the younger audience was able to experience and watch....from an angle, off-center. They watched (showing typical childhood impatience yet trying to be good) his efforts, on and on and finally were witness to the results of the artist's skills. All to the building & thrilling notes of a musical masterpiece, "Bolero"! Well done, and this longtime artist learned something~
There's some pretty board kids there....lol, he's not teaching he's just painting to get the ooos and ahhhs at the end so why are the kids even there let alone the adults.
I pressed the 'like' button for the nice painting but I wish I could also press the 'dislike' button for various other reasons, the most important being the fact that he is supposed to be demonstrating his work to kids that can't see a thing from where they have them (or him ) positioned. I really felt sorry for them. If the point was to show them the finished piece why have them there and waste their time? The music was totally wrong, too. The video shooting was totally wrong too. We couldn't see a thing.
Music far too distracting and the swishy sloshy camera work is nauseous. The whole video needs re doing for it to be of any use and value. A shame because your art technique does appear ti be good, but because I am unable to see what you are doing and the hideous music, all makes for a complete waste of time. Cannot stand any more.. DELETED?
I agree with you. I don't understand why so many of these art videos have to have music and if they do why don't they have music to fit the subject and played softly. In most cases they should not have music at all so one could hear the artist's comments.
Lose the music put in your own voice. Explain what your doing so people can learn from you, I see your mouth move sometimes I am not sure if your speaking about what is going on in your mind as you choose colors, Brush strokes, wet into wet, controlling water yada yada .. The music drags my mind off what I am watching. I hate to say it but even the people watching this live do not look all that involved in what is going onto the paper. Did they have a monitor to watch on ? From the low angle of the chairs and the angle of the paper not one person on the chairs could see what your painting unless they had a monitor to watch maybe ?? Anyway .. very nice painting just a shame it could have been oh so much more, A painting Lesson maybe.
