Nice! I cut open the key for my e39 (diamond key), that was pretty hard. Had to change the case as the border or seam of the housing was in poor condition. But at least it works and looks new. :-)
What part will i need to transfer in order to clone this onto a working fob. I have a key which is draining battery fast and it has been checked by a key guy and am hoping he has done all this and returned it back with issue still occurring....
I washed my e 90 key and I split it open on the groove with a flat head and hair dryer it for about 15-20 seconds until it was almost hot and then it worked completely fine
Thank you for an AWESOME video, very helpful ,please do more !! your cameo picture with sunglasses on makes you look like ' Tom Cruise @ out of ( Mission Impossible) very appropriate for this video
Hi, nice video!!!, I have the same key with water damage, only transpoder works (start the car when stick to the steering column) I have another blank new key, what components should I need to swap to the blank key to avoid the key coding? Thanks!!
I don't know the answer, but I tried cleaning it gently by hand with an alcohol swab and it didn't work. I guess I'm about to buy an ultrasonic cleaning machine.
One question friend my car does have the CA unlock all 4doors but don’t lock with the key fob I have to but my finger at the handle to lock. What you think I should try to make it work. By the way great videos I have learned so much
I have similar problem. Key got washed in washing machine. However, after changing battery, it works perfect for a few days and then battery dies. Any suggestions on how to fix? I’m good with microsoldering so can try to repair. Please help with any instructions. I’m subscribed! 😊
Hi, I have a key fob with the same situation. After I wiped the corrosion residue off, it appears the buttons are firing based on current reading but it cannot unlock the car. I’m think of using an ultrasonic bath to give a shot, any suggestions? Thank you!
