I admire your pride of workmanship,interesting to see a different method from mine. Personally for first cleans I sometimes use a drizzle of washing up liquid directly on the brush and find that more than good enough for glass and frames nearly every time.Occasionally I use upvc cream cleaner on frames but careful on glass as it’s potentially abrasive.Thereafter just pure water paying particular attention to rinsing edges. Over time I’ve learned the importance of cleaning the frames often especially above the window as this minimises run down,sometimes I rinse back over as necessary. I observe other window cleaners don’t bother at all with any of this and when the windows have dried they’re often covered in run down dirt! I can’t work like that,it has to be done right.

Please tell me what you are using to Shut off the Water & turn back on. And does it work with any Pole? What Pole are you using by the way?
