We just had to get another camper, we just love them too much. I drove all the way to PA Copart to pick up this Camper . Once I got it back to the shop, Mike and I go through every single inch of this camper. Oh boy you wouldn't believe what we find. You guys continue to hit home runs, this 5th wheel has got to be your best buy yet, congrats. I want to urge you to check and empty your grey water and black water tanks if there is anything in them and winterize your fresh water system as we approach winter and cold temps

Lci wireless remote - hit home to turn it on and hit the home button 5x times to reset the pin. Mine was the same when I got it.

Guys, here is why this was likely totaled. Typically, people will hook up their hose to the black tank flush inlet and close the gate valve to allow it to fill with water. They get distracted and it overflows into the RV via the toilet and soaks the interior, storage compartments, and the floor vents with sewer water. I could hear the floor popping in the bathroom while you walked on it which is another indicator my theory is correct. You can eliminate most of the smell, which the owners probably did by cleaning floors and carpets. This happens a lot.

Yep. Watched it happen to guy that was camping near me. They left and forgot to turn off the flush. We saw the water coming out of door and shut the outside valve but the damage was done. Flood cars are risky enough but these trailers are made so cheaply that any water damage will rot them from the inside out. To the Niko bro's, I'd seriously move back to your core competencies and get over the water damage infatuation. It only takes one sale of one of these time bombs to the wrong person to destroy your reputation.

I would definitely check out the roof there may be some damage up there that caused a water leak that you’re just not seeing inside.

The roof is the only thing left that needs checking out but I didn’t see any stains on the ceiling that’s a really good sign. I think you made a good deal but there must be some damage somewhere.

Careful with the floors... the osb floor is basically wrapped in a bag (waterproofing on the bottom and vinyl on top) which can turn the floor into a mush of swollen sawdust. Once that floor deteriorates, the floor is screwed to the base and everything sits on top of it and replacing/repairing is a nightmare. Drying out the floor is almost impossible and the waterproofing membrane underneath needs to be removed until it's dry.

I work at an rv lot. If the roofs in tact you stole it. Easy sale once your ready and the market is hot. Don’t forget to winterize it.

I wouldn't pop open the champagne cork yet... If it was totalled for flooding you can be sure the OSB subfloor has been saturated which in turn will allow the wall paneling, wood framing, insulation and EVERYTHING in the underbelly to soak up water through capillary action. Drying these areas out will NOT prevent future toxic mold from developing, now as well as in the future. Hopefully, you will have mold professionals evaluate these areas for your own health as well as ANYONE using this camper.

In the UK the water heater is called a "combi" type - instantaneous water heater where the gas heats the cold water through a heat exchanger from 10C to about 50C as you use it. No tank and unlimited hot water. Just dont run the sink when someone is in the shower, as the heaters output is limited and the sink will steal the hot (greater flow rate) and whoever is in the shower will.....start shouting or screaming!!

It’s cold out in mold doesn’t really grow in the cold, waiting till it warms up in that mold starts to grow in spread then you’re screwed

I thought insurance companies send out adjusters to at least inspect for damage. This has ABSOLUTELY zero issues, so how did it get salvaged? Even if it WAS parked in a high water situation, if there is nothing to report, the insurance company would almost certainly deny the claim. Very curious.

@@MrPaige222 saw one being sold as salvage in NY that sat through a hurricane in Louisiana. If the dealer's lot floods, think they just write the whole lot off as salvage, but not sure.

It seems like a good buy. As others have said though I would check the roof for defects, essential before winter. Then examine the floors carefully inside and underneath. There will likely be some telltale signs underneath if there was flooding. Great video Brothers hope this works out to be a good purchase. 👍

If the shower or sink was accidenly left on and the grat tank got full it would've over flowed out of the lowest drain which is most likely the shower resulting in a flooded floor and the insulation under the floor being wet

I would love to find one to rebuild. I currently have 1988 jayco that me and my family live in and next summer we are going to rebuild it. But I need to find another one that is newer to live in tell we get it all done
