Water for Elephants is an upcoming 2011 drama film based on Sara Gruen's novel of the same name, directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Robert Pattinson as Jacob Jankowski, Reese Witherspoon as Marlena and Christoph Waltz as August.
I saw this film at the weekend and its one of the most incredible films I've seen. You have to watch it. They all play their roles perfectly to give the maximum affect, including the elephant. It tugs on your heart strings and yet fills you with happiness at the same time. I recommend this film to anyone who wants a cry or who wants to feel better in life. :) xxx
I heard this song way before this movie was made. and i am sooo glad they used this song for this movie. i haven't seen it before but i read the book and it completely fits the entire plot very nicely. beautiful song, beautiful book.. cant wait to see the movie :)
it was such a good movie !!!!! its funny cuz my dad was so mad about going with me to the movie theatre cuz he didnt wanna see a another movie about a love story, he ended up really liking it lol
This movie led to the most amazing discovery ever. By the end of it, I realized my hubby is a superhero. In half a second he made it to the exit of a 600 seats room plus he managed to put his coat on on the way. Wow,wow, he's supersonic! I'm not that fast though. It took me a whole second to do the same :( .Well, maybe next time! That elephant should get an Oscar.
I'm actually reading the book for extra credit, and I plan to see the movie. I don't think Pattinson is bad (He was great in Harry Potter) and I'm actually excited for this movie to see how he does.
1. Walter is a ginger. 2. Jacob is also supposed to be a ginger but I never pictured him that way anyhow. 3. from what I've heard, there's no Uncle Al... 4. other than that, it looks good.
We saw this as a family.. Animals and people should not be treated this way. I still have a elephant from BARNEM AND BAILEYS I was taken while i was pregnant. I was hopeful to have a daughter and I did..
@dick9434 His hair is red, not completely but he did dye it for the movie enough to be able to go back and forth between this and the Twilight Saga movies. Her hair is described as just on the verge of being brunette but she is a blond. Maybe not as blond as Reese portrays her though. I'm not trying to fight you, I'm just stating
@rainydays190 Its helarious you think that they train a elephant to do handstands through postive reinforcement. You should visit the website circuses dot com to see how they thrain elephants to do tricks...there is NO OTHER WAY
I didn't get through the whole movie. I had to leave when that piece of sh*t went out with the bull hook. I knew what was coming. I knew where the movie was headed. I left. Too upsetting for me.
If you watch this movie you support animal cruelty....I refuse to watch this film...it sickens me to see how they are promoting using animals for entertainment....sad. see the truth... WATCH the trailer on "how I became an elephant" see what elephants really have had to go through for human entertainment.
