This music is so calming ,I've had a very stressful time with my wife having been in a care home ,and this is our 50th wedding anniversary, but we are very fortunate to have such wonderful musicians who provide us with love in the music ,thank you ❤

I was taking my 3 year old daughter to Nursery when this came on Classic FM - she said "daddy, I like this song". It's now our song, I couldn't have picked a better one.

What a lovely anecdote - shows that "classical" / instrumental music is not dying, that the future is not in pseudo-intellectual crash-bang-wallop nonsense - rather than trying to be super modern, but in continuing to write beautiful music and letting it evolve naturally! Hence comments from real people like your daughter and yourself, about real music! Emotion and not pretentious over intellectualism. Sorry I needed to say this, having graduated not long ago from a music degree - glad to be away from that dreadful environment!

I wait for this music every Sunday when Alan Titchmarsh plays it, it is so beautiful and relaxing. I have told my son that I would like it played at my funeral!!! Hopefully not for a few years yet.

I'm not sure if this is the music used on Walk on the Wildside, or if it's Roll of Honour by Oliver Ledbury? They sound quite similar.

It's easy listening, but refreshing at the same time. Full credit to Ms Wiseman for writing these notes in today's more complicated genres of serious composition. I wonder what Harrison Birtwistle thinks of it?

Well I have to admit my ignorance. I'd never heard of Debbie Wiseman until yesterday when our local classical music station here in San Antonio, Texas, played this It's stunning.

She also composed the theme (score?) for Wilde - it's beautiful! And Snowdrop. I also only discovered her when I started listening to Classicfm. Enjoy 😊
