I think you should create a large spool that you can tow your materials that come coiled with your tractor. You tow them to where they are needed. An axel might hold 4-5 narrow spools of various pipe, wire, tubing and rope.

Here at home we average 12-14 inches of precipitation per year. We dig several wells depending on the size of the property and the amount of animals we're raising. Cattle/crops drink a lot of water! Wells can run from 30 to 1,000 feet deep, at a cost of 8 to 25 thousand dollars per well. We are in the middle of a drought cycle that's been going on for ten years! Just some information for fun!

@Project Portugal Hi Nick and Angela, the pitaya/dragon fruit needs to grow downwards to start blooming. The pineapple needs at least two or three years to flower and ripen fruit. Be patient. 🌺 And besides, it's too dark in the greenhouse for all the succulents. You should replace part of the metal roof with milky or transparent plastic

What a wonderful way to start the weekend ; morning coffee with the famously talented team from Portugal providing a very unique video . Always providing the best care for the animals there in those high temperatures , please keep hydrated and stay safe yourself . We work early morning and evening , just not much in between on really hot days . Love the update on the greenhouse, Andrea does keep busy . I think you need to do another question and answer series for all the new subscribers , just about every video content has over ten thousand views ; that alone tells me just how hard you two work every week. Need to update Lily for us , take care and many blessings 💕

Hey Nick and Ang, I caught a little video about a greenhouse up in the forest of Dean, gloucestershire, as you probably know. They ran water into their greenhouse into a tank in which they kept fish, long story short fish crapped in tank the water from tank trickle fed plants with in built fertilizer.

Catching up Nick, I was amused when you showed the 7mm rawl plugs for the duck door hinges. I also brought lots of 7mm plugs from the UK. Of course here they use 6mm or 8mm and have drills to match. 7mm masonry drills here are special order 🤣 But anyway I like the door 👍

REALLY enjoyable! I can't put my finger on why but this was a superb episode. It was encouraging for us amateurs to see you push through too hard when drilling the pipe, so causing a leek, but you did a superb job on the water mine at the top of the property! It looked like a couple of days work to clear it but you did it in a couple of hours. The water storage set-up looks great, and being added to soon so will be even better. If you plan to jump in to your pond for a quick cool down in the future - it seems like a great idea, especially if you can permanently filter the water to keep it clear and clean - how will you stay safe from snakes being in there? Send Ang in first?
@projectportugal
@projectportugal Месяц назад
So! We plan to make the swim zone, completely separate from the planted areas.it will also be air filtered and also have a pump to recycle particulates, and will have more shade

Yep, it's what they are called here, it's basically a spring that someone has dug out and made into a usable water source. So building a structure to make extraction easier hence the phrase, "mining water"
