Happy birthday Nick , have a fantastic day ! You and Andrea are like family members to watch your weekly videos , it’s always a pleasure and so enjoyable to watch ; take care and many blessings 💕
Maybe continue watering that super green plant & the one that’s dry beside it. I love all of the jams & chutneys, plus the other produce 😊 Your like Mr Fix It! I loved the pigs wallowing in the water! Also the ducks.
Catching up Nick, I was amused when you showed the 7mm rawl plugs for the duck door hinges. I also brought lots of 7mm plugs from the UK. Of course here they use 6mm or 8mm and have drills to match. 7mm masonry drills here are special order 🤣 But anyway I like the door 👍
That's a great solution to the leaky pipe - I'll store that for future use. Any thoughts on cause? Were there any joints underground? We've just laid a continuous 80m in a deep trench at ours and are braced to fill it in and hope for the best. 🤞🤞
@@HotkeysPortugal no underground joints, no idea, may have been a mole but never heard of that before, standard practice on 80m of pipe is to lay on and surround with pea gravel
@@projectportugal That’s exactly what we have done, 600 down, made a big scar on the land and the guy with the digger is due back sometime to put the soil back. Patience is a virtue.
Hi guys, thanks for the great content. How soon will you be tiling over your concrete slab? You mentioned it being almost dry, is it safe to go ahead and tile over it at this stage using porcelain tiles
Any concrete needs to be fully dried and cured before you tile over it, and that depends on , how thick it is how humid it is, have you used a plastic membrane etc etc
Thanks, it's just a small area 8 x 4, 2 inches at its shallowest, 3 inches at its deepest, over an existing, uneven, poor condition slab. No heavy duty, just a few kitchen units and foot traffic. I realise now from your response that it's almost impossible to gauge without seeing it, you know what it's like, you just want to get on. Best to give it a week I think, to be sure.
So good that you could fix the plumbing without destroying all your previous work 😲 excited for the surprise!! Wishing you a wonderful and happy birthday when it comes along 🙏🏻🩷 God bless you both and all your animals
Happy belated birthday, Andrea. Regarding the fencing and the trailer, how about attaching the post perpendicular to the trailer, then you can pull it out standing?
Another great video thank you FYI here in NZ you can buy small water leak detectors with alarm especially good for cupboards only $12 ..... If your interested you could Google them for consideration, take care.
Fun to watch piggies enjoy their refreshing pond😊👍 Veggies look so good!! Wow, water bill is outrageous! Glad you found the leakage and able to fix the issue... Thank you for sharing this video ❣️🥰❣️
Oh gosh! I'm at your extreme water bill! And i can seriously relate to this one! My water bill went up crazy high, after my dear older neighbors decided to get a complete rock yard out front, with sand, rocks, a pretend rock river, plants that dont require water, etc. The first year this happened my water bill was like yours. This year i turned off all my irrigation water off till late late spring. He had no water irrigation to his back yard. When i turned mine on, he had water irrigation. The company he hired to do his front yard dry rock, hooked into my water lines to irrigate his backyard,😭😭
I love putting the seeds from the butternut Squash on a cookie sheet with a little salt and put them in the oven on 350 for about 15-20 mi....you have to watch. Tasty 😊😊
Oh wow! Just watched you set up the aircon unit, with the installed shelf, well done! And see the difference already in the cold room. 23:11. And I see that Andrea's bed top is still free and empty if she desires to nap in here! 😂 ok back to video! But what I really wanted to comment on was the gorgeous garlic abundance you have hanging!❤❤❤ beautiful! And Yum!
Oh what a load of harvest you have in that wheel barrel! That humungous white pumpkin i bet would have grown even larger! Here in Nevada, we wait til the stem attached is dried, before picking. Beautiful harvest! I'm pausing at the beautiful tiny piglet adventuring into the new water area❤ so delightful to see it exploring, drinking, then wallowing!❤
