Another great video (Viewers, don't underestimate the time it would have taken to make a video like this!) 1. our families paid water bills, that built all the infrastructure, over the last century. The Tories had no right to sell it off to foreigners at a discount. 😤 2. Privatisation was supposed to make bills cheaper, but unlike electric and gas, there is not even competition and you can't switch supplier, so the private companies have monopolies. Scotland apparently has the cheapest water bills, and surprise, surprise, their water was not privatised, and it is paid as part of the council tax. 🤔 3. There has been no planning regards water infrastructure to cope with a huge increase in population. For over 20 years, mass migration has been equivalent to adding a UK city to this island ever year. This makes sewage outflows much more likely, as the sewage system can't cope with all the extra use.💩💩💩💩 Also, they have only built something like 1 reservoir in the last 40 years. Compare that to the huge reservoirs built when nationalised in the 60s and 70s. 4.This is a huge overlooked aspect of the sewage in rivers. It is a toxic cocktail not just poop and wee.☠💀It is everything that runs off down storm drains, and flushed down toilets, or poured down sinks. This includes vast quantities of oil, diesel, toilet bleach, bath and kitchen cleaners, laundry detergents, paint, pharma tablets, weedkiller etc. If you look at the back of most bleach, for example, it actually says HARMFUL TO AQUATIC LIFE. Ever since the first uproar about the Tory sewage votes in Parliament, i have not used any bleach, and have switched all my cleaning stuff to brands like Ecover or use baking powder and white vinegar. They env friendly versions are more expensive, but I am more frugal about how much I use, so i think this cancels out the extra cost (You really only need to use 10p size dollop not squirt half a cup, for the same impact cleaning wise). Every person who does the same makes a small difference to whats going into our rivers, and if millions did the same, even if the Tories and big business do nothing, it would make a huge difference.

We sadly don’t have politicians anymore just business people who’s goal it is to privatise everything they can for a quick buck and then use the offshore banking system to not pay tax on the profits. The Uk Gov. needs to shut down the offshore banking industry. If we shut it down the revenue recovered from tax evasion would fund the NHS 5 times over and reduce the retirement age to 50 or double you state pension.

Most of these so-called 'privatised' water companies are owned by foreigners, as Martin Lewis said recently "How can any UK water company be considered a privatised concern when THEY DONT have ANY COMPETITION !!!!!!!, to the contrary the UK government GIVES these so-called privatised companies £BILLIONS.......In addition these same companies continue to increase our bills ...telling us that the extra money was to improve water quality..................YEH RIGHT ONLY AFTER PROFIT.

British Waterways once owned by the British taxpayers were one of the biggest landowners in the country. Conservatives always wanted to sell British waterways off but couldn’t do it as their would have been a national outcry selling off a national treasure. So they called it a charity 😏 and now the guys at the top of the Canal River Trust are selling it off bit by bit 🙄 , and using the money from the sale of property,land,moorings to reinvest 😉 😉in the waterways 😉 So what was a cheap way of life paid for by the UK tax payers for years , Is now being broken up going into the hands of private companies and profiteers . Right under the nose of the British people in the Guise of a CHARITY 😳😳
