Shock and awe….. I live in the Pacific Northwest and don’t drink coffee. 😂😂 Oh the look of confusion I often get. There’s a coffee shop or truck on just about every block here. I’m an herbal tea drinker, I’ll have to figure out how to add a tea bag. 🙂 Thank you for the tutorial.

Have you ever used instant coffee in your painting. When I heard people talk about using tea for browns I wondered what would happen with instant coffee. I have used it several times and it is great for cards and little paintings to give for gifts because the coffee smell lasts for a few days.
Question... Why do you turn the journal upside down for the next painting? I noticed that in another video. I do my paintings in the same direction, but I kind of like the idea of turning it upside down. That's why I'm curious. Thank you for all the fun sketchbook ideas!
Great question. I’m right handed and I prefer not to lean my hand on the opposite page of the journal when painting so I flip it around. If it bothers you not to have all your pages facing the same way, you can just put a protective piece of paper over the other page while you paint.
