I recently followed your daisy tutorial and loved it! I just found this one and I was wondering why you use the transfer/tracing paper? In the daisy tutorial, we did the line work and then added wash; is there any reason we couldn't do the same thing here?

I think the hardest thing for me is lines. They give me the worst trouble because they always look wrong. I don't know if I'm applying too much pressure or have too much paint on my brush but they always look horrible. I'd love a tutorial on how to make realistic stems and branches.

Hi Shayda. I LOVE your tutorials. Where do I click to purchase your watercolor E course. I clicked on the link provided and it showed me what was included in the course but there was no button to click to purchase it just a big square with a sad face in the middle. Does this mean that the course is no longer available? I have been going through treatment for cancer and wanted to get into watercolor as a way to do something creative and also as a bit of stress relief as I deal with the diagnosis as I don't have much money at the moment, and I can start slower with watercolor.....

My biggest struggle with drawing is consistency. I'm afraid of doing always the same thing, I like to draw faces but I never go deep in my process cause I feel guilty of doing the same thing. I don't know if that makes sense 😅 but I'm stuck with this problem of being guilty of having a specific field I like and not going on other one 😞

I think many of us feel that! I like flowers and over the last couple years I've gotten over the guilt of focusing on that one subject and just enjoyed it instead 😊

How do you decide between cold pressed and hot pressed? I see you use both.Please advice.

Depends on the project, sometimes I want a smooth surface texture (hot pressed) and sometimes I like painting on a paper with more tooth (cold pressed). In this project I used hot pressed because the smooth paper makes adding the pen easier

It has a very smooth surface texture which makes it easier to use with the pen/ fineliner at the end. Cold pressed will work too but the textured surface can make drawing more difficult
