Amazing work. I am so very inspired. I found your way of approach a bit different. You seem to add blue and violet first to define the shadows and then you put its complementary orange, red colors on top as glaze. The effect is unique. I would be grateful if you throw more light on it. I struggle to visualize in such manner when I look at my subject.

Beautifully done. I could really feel the weight of the model as it finalized. The underpainting was amazing. Truly masterful work! I am inspired! It's time to break out my watercolors again.

I was instantly drawn to clicking on this video. Then thought, oh idk if I want to sit through a 45 min video right now. But was instantly mesmerized as soon as you started. This was so relaxing to watch and turned out so beautifully! I am in complete awe of your work!

Shark W in the top right corner of the video there are three dots. If you touch that there is a selection for playback speed at the bottom. You can slow it down.

In materials you do not mentions the color pallette you used. What color tubes of paint do we need to use to mix and glaze?

You divided the face in thirds, chin to hairline, to place a child's features. I've seen this done for an adult face. What makes the change. Clearly the adult has a larger chin and jaw. Is that where the change occurs? Less forehead and more jaw? So interesting and such a beautiful painting.

This is such an amazing video! I love how careful you are when painting and sketching haha. i love the effect and unusual style of putting cool colors first. also, the fact that you used just one brush is so cool (am i right, or did you change your brush? lol) the child's face look so realistic. this is very helpful for students like me who gets failing grade in one of my subject lolol. anyway, may i ask what brand of watercolour are you using and the gsm of your wcolor paper? so much thanks!

Amazing portrait, really well done. And incredibly relaxing to watch too :) I hope you don´t mind me pointing only one thing out and that is that I felt you should have left some parts of the painting where they were around 24 Minutes, like the background, the neck and just finish off the eyes and the main features. I personally think this would have resulted in an even more fresh and interesting painting! Just my 2 cents! ;)
