I am such a huge fan of all of your Artwork that you share here with all of us. When I first started artwork as a teenager, I began with Watercolors and color Pencils, and after a few years I found Acrylics and a new love. Unfortunately Watercolors fell by the wayside and Not until the past few years of watching other Watercolor artists, have I finally become entranced and Inspired by the beauty and flow of watercolors again. Your Artwork and the love that you express for it brings me back to my youth and reminds me of the beauty in everything around us. It took me a while before I seriously create something in mixed media. Although I already made some, the thing is...I've never been so inspired to draw as the way I was before. Seeing your artworks made me realize that I shouldn't be hesitant to try new things or at least mixed things. I'm a colored pencil user, for almost 4 years I use colored pencil as my main medium, I never thought that watercolor & colored pencil are suitable in creating an artwork. Until I watched on of your videos in your channel. After a while I started to make one of my own piece using the same medias, watercolors &colored pencils, markers & etc. Still exploring though. But all I wanted to say is thanks Lioba for the tips inspiration. I hope to see more of your artworks, it's gorgeous really. Love from the Philipines

Hallo Lioba, ich hab mich riesig gefreut das du wieder ein Video hochgeladen hast.😀 Dieses Bild ist sehr detailreich. Allein schon die Vorarbeit mit dem Digital-Pad... dann deine endgültige Version. Auch das du die Farben vorher in Photoshop austestest...dauert bestimmt sehr lange. Es ist natürlich auch interessant zu sehen mit welchen „Problemen“ du dich abmühst und dann eine Lösung findest...bspweise die Augen mit Gouache formst. Danke für die wertvollen Tipps. Schöne Rest Ostern.🦋🐰☺️

This was fun to watch, from start to finish!! I like the part where you play with the drawing digitally using your new drawing tablet. I have a solution for the glove thing once you've found it or bought a replacement. I use a zip-up hard shell pen holder with room for six pens for my stylus and my glove. I tuck the glove under the elastics on one side, and the stylus on the other side. Your painting turned out dreamy and cool. Maybe some play on the concept of a gilded cage, like naming her "Gilda".

This painting is exquisite! I love painting with gouache. I just did a video of painting outside with it. It's super cool how you mixed it with the watercolor. I'll have to try that soon!

I'm not sure if this was the overall intention, but I found this video quite funny! Losing the glove to the void made me laugh, as well as how you talked about shifting mediums to make your artwork look just the way you want it. If one thing doesn't work, just move onto the next strategy! I love that!!! I'm super impressed by how many mediums you've mastered 😊

Very nice! IMO, you are unrivaled when it comes to mixed media. :) For the title, I was thinking since the theme is ‘Bad Apple’ , using the word ‘gilded’ might be fun. ‘A Bird’s Love Is Always Gilded’, in my head it sounds like she’ll entrap you inside her cage. ‘A Gilded Embrace Awaits’, not as good, but figured I’d throw it out there. I liked your suggestion, too, though. ‘I’ll Be Your Little Bird’ sounds rather coy. XD

did you save the eraser as a new brush after removing the transfer settings? What about the button next to the opacity in brush bar above the canvas? hmm settings stuff is sooooo tedious😔 often makes me go nuts and leave my computer lol I have absolutely no patience for stuff like that 😄

Lioba have you ever tried using a 3D program like Daz 3d to set up models? I have done some animation in the past with this program and rendered these models look pretty real. Might check it out. Tell ya the truth i have been thinking of using it for reference material myself.
