You just painted the place I live on. The 40 acres have hundreds of very old large oak like the one you painted. The unfortunate thing is, it was estimated that we lost approximately 2 million $ in oak and madrone in the wild fire we suffered 6 years ago. Your painting cheered me up after thinking of the fire. ♥️

Yes, I can paint many things but I just don’t seem to have a feel for landscapes, they look a bit stiff! This simple simple and very pretty landscape might be just what I need to loosen me up. Thanks Harriet ❤
