They are not marketing to Maine people but I'm sure someone will buy this camp for their summer place to use a few weeks a year . Nice place for who ever buys it .
Well, the realtor doesn't set the price! However, it seems everyone is trying to cash out before the market hits a major adjustment! But yup, the price is $395,000 for .26 acres! Oh, yeah, Lake Front!👌
As a non-native, but who grew up in Southern Maine, this is way overpriced. It was just valued at $185 2 years ago. Yes you get conveniences of a septic, power, laundry room, close to the water, etc… but Lincoln isn’t a happening place. Neither is this listing with the upgrades it needs.
I'm not usually one of those people who complain about the price but this seems very high considering how dated everything is and how much work a new owner would have to put into that
… Cute house 🏡😊.. Looks like a Time Capsule.. The Yard didn’t look fully kept up.. Needs a New Deck.. A Traditional Wood Burning Stove would be great.. Good Kitchen Space (needs an upgrade).. The Bedrooms are Nice (needs upgrades).. Love the Bathroom Cabinets & Drawers (needs a lil upgrade).. Renovate the Garage , or the Buyer can Order from Tuff Shed (customize).. Place got Lots of Potential. However, it’s Not going to be Cheap to Renovate. Unless the buyer Tears Everything Down & Builds from Scratch.. Lake Front or Not, only a Rich Person can Afford It (not worth almost $400K).
400 k for this is outrageous. It needs 100K in upgrades and almost 3,000 for taxes a year is outrageous someone will buy this and put it on Airbnb. Price should be closer to 200. Maine is seeing what the housing market is doing in the rest of the country and trying to catch up
You can thank Covid. Covid made a lot of people realize they don’t need to be near their work if they started working from home at that time. People are still doing that. It’s total crap. Maine used to be cheap to buy a lot of land. But now they getting rediculous
Just curious, the bad smell from the Lincoln Mills will reach that area? They never mention that. If somebody that doesn’t know the area buy a house there will be disappointed.
Oh that is great. I’ve moved to Florida 10 years ago. So Obviously I didn’t know that Lincoln doesn’t have that bad smell from the mills anymore. I love the area, and the forest there.
Considering new properties can only be built 100 feet from a lake, if you can build at all, it's a nice property. I'd say 10 years ago it was a 200,000 house, but this is today.
@@lifestyleproperties your welcome. The family and I were just in Chesterville last week for vacation. We rent a house on Locke Pond. She and I want to buy something on the water to have a pontoon boat. For when we retire.
Completely way over-the-top pricing, not even remotely in the ballpark of sanity. My god! 🤯 It's a pretty dingy place too! So much work would need to be done! Next ‼️
