Opie and Anthony were a major radio show played all over the United States and the world Opie And Anthony are legends Like them or hate them there legends Stuttering John is not on their level he doesn't add up to either one of them

I love how John asks if Opie has ever heard Anthony use the N word. Millions of people have heard John use it numerous times on the Stern show. He used to call a certain type of fire works, N-word chasers. Its easy to find on youtube. I brought that to his attention on twitter and as usual, he blocked me immediately

I love Geno’s enthusiasm. Having cohosts who are genuinely into the topic at hand make the show 1000% more fun and enjoyable. I could listen to this energy for hours

To Opie's credit, I believe he was the one who hired Jim onto the O&A show. His two best career decisions were teaming with Ant and then Jimmy later on.

I can't wait until Opie's wife has finally gotten sick of his borderline ass and divorces him, take all of his money, house, cars, kids, etc.

That funny moment where Opie ignores stuttering John’s inviting of himself onto his podcast is a perfect example of the duality of Opie that Jimmy always talks about. He’s insecure around incredibly talented comics and broadcasters like Anthony, but when he sees his worth is when he’s in the presence of someone completely incompetent and a buffoon. Opie had a way of punching down that could really be hilarious. (See Opie and Anthony bash Club Piscopo) Opie has some great lines when they’re shredding Joe Piscopo on the phone after listening to his shitty showtime special that year; and Anthony actually asks the straight man questions to Joe and it worked really well. Everyone on staff(Sam spoke about it on the aftershow that day) were saying “wow Opie was in rare form today those lines he had were brutally hilarious.” So like Jimmy has said “When Opie was comfortable and accepted his role” as a straight man, but more specifically when he sees an opportunity where someone is obviously less talented than him, he’s really good at beating the shit out of them and whether he realizes it or not he’s funny doing it. Those moments were fewer than they should’ve been, but when he had them like you heard here, he’s really good at that; whether it’s inadvertent or intentional, that’s where you could see he added some sort of element to that amazing show. Other than that he’s a waste and a nothing but moments like that that he did have really stood out.

Both opie and stuttering john are examples of two dudes who struck gold by dumb luck and had a long career in spite of their total incompetence and lack of anything interesting or lack of ANYTHING to say AT ALL in a field where saying things is the focal point. It’s amazing really. Guys like that, who live to be way past middle age can only be successful if they embrace who they actually are, and who they always have been. Self awareness would be a game changer for these guys. But no. They have deluded themselves into thinking they have talent by their total dumb luck careers and try to put on shows. And when ppl tell them the truth of their situation they just can’t handle it, they can’t believe they could have such careers and be completely incompetent. It’s possible. And these two guys are shining examples of it.

I would pay anything to hear an Opie, Stuttering John, and Scorch podcast.

Great show WATP. Opie has lost his funny confidence. If he had that confidence back he would hang up on John after asking a well crafted woke question John wants to talk about. Stuttering John used to generate excitement by being the butt of failure jokes on Stern. People can relate to John because we are all F Ups in our own way. When John got woke, his ego set boundaries for his exagerated Stuttering John character that really don't fit with anyone that are fans of his work on Stern. When John asks Opie about Ant dropping n bombs you can tell straight away Opie tweaks to whats up because woke John ignores context and just wants a yes or no. The only thing Opie and John really agree on is that East Side Dave Show is 7.30pm Tuesday on Compound.

John doesn't seem to understand that comics all goof on each other. Since he's not a real comic he takes it personally instead of hitting back with his own funny goofs. Imagine how many times Artie goofs on Gilbert and calls him a hack, when Artie knows Gilbert is hilarious and probably 100x funnier then Artie, but Gilbert doesn't get offended. He laughs his ass off and comes back with his own insults for himself and for Artie 10 seconds later. Its what comedians do

It actually was Opie who originally brought Norton on the O&A show. They were actually really good friends at first and used to hangout. Jimmy never really did much with Anthony until later on after he started to get sick of Opie. Jim even credits Opie, himself, for bringing him to the table.

From his radio show after THSS that he was given, where he literally half assed and finished taping so quickly that he left the building when the rest of the cast of THSS did, to his podcasts now, where he doesnt research anything about his guests or what they are doing, is such an embarrassment to the industry.

This is from episode 231 Reply Guys, and I had to shut it off. It's just Geno endlessly talking over the host, cutting people off mid sentence and interrupting every single clip for 2 hours straight. Also, over and over he'll tell a bad joke, get zero laughs, tell the joke again, still get zero laughs, and then say "you can cut that out of the show".
