Watts Bar Nuclear Unit 2 Completion 

For the first time this century, the Tennessee Valley and the US are benefiting from 1150 megawatts of new carbon-free, reliable energy - Watts Bar Unit 2 has officially entered commercial operation. It now joins six other TVA nuclear units to supply more than one-third of the region’s generating capacity, and meeting the electric needs of more than 4.5 million homes, 24 hours a day. #NuclearPower
