Its not only on Lv1. We do the same on any mixer. Either split the signal or double assign

Yes most digital consoles can do most of this. Really handy and makes for a world of possibilities.

Joe, my question is how do you get around the latency when you have plugins running on channels and mastering in matrix at monitors.

Good question. And the answer is delay groups. Check out this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yCefW8-Vxdw.html

I duplicate all channels but I put the latency of the server to the maximum to be able to have more plugins in FOH. I think 4.7 more in inears is not a problem.

Well as long as the artist is happy there’s no problem 😀 4.7 should work. Especially if you don’t have wireless mics (which add even more latency). How hot are you running the servers?

The server like this is very Relaxed and I can put a lot of plugins in the FOH layer and it doesn't exceed 60%

@@perikodiff That's perfect. If the artist should complain you have room for a lower buffer setting. If not, perfect. I like to hover around 60% myself. Feels safe.

What happens when you set latency compensation to on?
@joevegna
@joevegna 2 месяца назад
Well the delay compensation is always on. So if you don't do anything, the whole console is delay compensated. But then you can go in and work with different delays for different outputs via the delay groups. Not sure if this answered your question though ...

This would be an inconvenience running 32 channels of audio during a show
@joevegna
@joevegna 8 месяцев назад
Well not really. You just need to be aware of how it works. It’s absolutely easier on other consoles since you can’t control anything on those. But I don’t find it to be an inconvenience, it’s just a part of the workflow on this console.
