Do you sample? If so, are the samples royalty-free?, etc. I'm trying to steer clear of another "Old Town Road" scenario if the song blows (pause). In other words? I've been using them for about 6 months now and they've been great. Pros: Far more detailed in the mids, translate outside of the studio extremely well. Cons: they're not cheap :)

If you have use any of these monitors in the past can you comment on how they compare in the bass region? Also how they behave in the bass region in general? If you are NEW to mixing producing mastering you may wanna try the subscription. BUT if you're like me and a Sean we're probably gonna buy the plug ins we like or feel like we will use 1st. The Slate all access pass I think is whom Waves is trying to mirror in value for the buck - I am a Slate subscriber and it's awesome they are always bringing in new cutting edge products but waves is great also I own many of their plugins - Slate does not charge for updates to their plugins like waves does - competition will only improve this market in a whole - love your video's and content
Definitely some interesting sub options out there. What’s your fav Slate plugin? …Waves Ultimate has 3x the plugins, free updates, new plugins dropping monthly so far, reliability / support is unmatched imo.
@@SeanDivine wow that's alot of plugins 3x more - my fav slate plugin I guess would be the VMR (virtual mix rack) were you can combine a chain of plugins but I have so many favs in there - Sean have you tried the Kit blackbird channel strip that sounds awesome have been using it alot on my drums as of lately - Waves rocks there one of the best in the business at what there doing fore sure
