Waves SSL EV2 Plugin Explained 

You know all I expect was a GUI update. So this is a welcome surprise to me also 👏 thanks for watching

It's not an "update", you have to purchase it as a new plug-in for $40 if you have the E-channel already. This is why we don't buy waves anymore. 😂

Each to their own. $39 is a bargain. An I’d never expect any completely redone plug-in from any company for free 😂

@@Unders yeah, and as an owner of the original SSL E channel they give you $10 off. So for me it was $29. Cheapest SSL channel out I think

Been comparing it with the CLA mixhub 🤔 the low end is considerably more linear compared to the old one 👏

Actually just setting up an direct comparison. So we will see.

So essentially theres some differences. It mostly in the "sound" of the desk emulations. The Blue Compressor when even not engaged changes them further from one another quite a bit. All in all. CLA mix hub is the better value as its a great sounding SSL (if just marginally different in character) But has infinitely more flexibility.
