Can you do an updated “what I ask when I get a haircut” video, I love your hair style and the last video but I just need one that is right to the point so I could show my hair stylist exactly what I want through showing your video. Thank you!!
I use mousse and gel. The mousse gives volume and has polyquats that enhance curls. The gel provides hold. It's the best combo for my hair. This allows me to cut way back on the amount of gel that I use. Gel locks the moisture in my hair and increases the drying time considerably. This combo has given me better volume, definition, and decreased drying time.
Let me ask you this. Polyquats are not CG friendly, correct? So if I started using non-CG friendly products to improve my curls, can you still go several days with just refreshing? And do you use a sulfate shampoo every time?
I've been straighting my natural curly hair since 6th grade and tried to style my natural hair today, but when my father saw me he laughed at me. I've always had complex about my hair and decided to wear it natural, but I'm too scared that everyone will laugh at me and think it's ugly. I'm 22 now and I think this video is very helpful , I can't wait to try all these tips and to finally embrace my natural curls💗
Just came across your channel last night and have been binge watching your videos. So nice to come across someone who has wavy hair JUST LIKE MINE! My routine is very similar to yours and I even use a few of the same products, but you’ve given me a few ideas for new products/techniques to try! Definitely want to try adding in an oil, I don’t currently use one.
yes I like the foam on a refresh too.I feel gel on the second or third day gel leaves hair too stiff, even scrunching out the crunch.I know exactly what you mean with wonky pieces. I get a couple on one side of my head only!
I love this type of content! I've been embracing my natural curls for almost 2 years and watch tons of curly girl videos and I always enjoy watching other's products used and product applications. So thanks for the run down on your technique, you & your curls are gorgeous 😍
I often questioned the raking method. Your way, glazing makes more sense. I was looking at the nice curl clumps you had & if you were to rake the products, it would destroy them. I am going to try glazing on next wash day. I also like using foam for refreshing.
I usually end up getting some really curly pieces/sections and some that are just a little wavy and then others that are almost flat😭 and then i go to sleep and the next day a lot of the curls are gone and im left with some subtle waves :/ I'll definitely try this routine and hope i finally get somewhat of an even look that lasts more than a few hours :')
So pretty! I just got my hair cut into a chin length bob, and it’s so short haha! I have to wash it for the first time since getting it cut tonight so I’m excited/ scared to see how it goes! I feel like styling short vs long hair is a completely different routine!
I can’t use creams because I have fine wavy hair. I use gel, but I was using it backwards. I put my gel before my mousse. That probably explains why my waves didn’t hold. Thanks for the video.
I had the same. My hair would either look like I got electrocuted or it would be relativly straight xD. Bought some starter products and tried washing/styling it correctly yesterday and I was so surprised by all the waves and curls that appeared.
Interested in trying that curl cream and the gel! And love that yellow top💛 I usually get better results with diffusing but I’m too lazy to pull it out all the time too. 😄
Thank you!! Mm I think it was the modern renaissance palette in the beginning? I love using the taupe shade in my crease and the nude shade all over my lid. It’s my go to eye look! In the last clip I was wearing colourpop single shadow in lightning bug 🤍
I recently started my wavy hair routine. What happens is that my curls don’t form on the upper strands of my hair and only the lower strands form curls. Any tips for that ?
I am now subscribed to your videos, can I ask what your hair porosity and texture are? I just got 2 inches cut off from highlights a year ago that dried my curls out and I have low porosity so now I'm on the hunt for no proteins or coconut stylers
First of all,, gorgeous results! ...but weird question for you... I know you air dry most of the time, as do I...do you ever have a problem with your hair drying? Sometimes it literally takes 7-)8 hours for my hair to dry completely. I only wash on days I have nothing to do 😆 . Or do you have any idea what can cause that? For some reason, I really can't find info on that.
was the hairitage curl cream heavy and do you think it would weigh down long hair? I have almost waist-length wavy hair and I can get it curly when it's wet but it loses its curl when it dries :(. do you have any tips or any lightweight product recs?
I didn’t find it heavy at all! I think it would be nice on long hair! You might also try a lightweight but strong hold gel? The innersense one is really intense! Pairing something like that with a light leave in could do the trick!
@@tabithagingerich ok tysm! I currently use the noughty hair gel or dippity doo girls with curls jelle. I think once I finish one of those I'll try the innersense one! read the reviews and it seems great
Hi! New subscriber here, as soon as I finish watching this video 💕 Can you tell me the name of the light spray leave-in you used? Thank you so much and nice to meet you! 🤗
