Waxwing - Bombycilla garrulus - near Southport, Lancashire, March 21st. 2024
Been two birds present here, feeding on the old but still abundant Hawthorn berries for a couple of weeks. Tolerant of the close by and very noisy traffic.
Cars whizzing past constantly as can be seen in the video. A single carriageway road at this point. Me on the opposite side to the Hawthorns and the Waxwings .
