And the stange thing is , it's all real, not only in the Movies. I have seen martial artist in China preforming as well and they were fast. Bloody fast.
I remember watching my first Bruce Lee movie when I was baby from the back seat of the car at the drive- in (The Big Boss) as a child in the seventies, a teen ager, adult and now and older man. To this day I am still to see a human being or athelete that can match his astute precise personality and physical ability to boggle the mind with amazing speed, agility and precision with out any special effects all performed on his own merit. I don't think in my lifetime or in the future there will be any one like him again whatso ever. Very sad but glad to be alive in the world when such person existed. His legacy will live for ever which is his greatest feat.
I just introuduced my 6 year old grandnephew to bruce lee. Hes trying to do push ups so i showed him the video of Bruce Lees 2 finger push up , one handed...He was transfixed. His mother said he went home and asked her who is bruce lee...? so when i sw h im next I showed him some videos. Bruce Lee will never die..

A real fighter is not a fighter who fights in a ring. Bruce was a real street fighter and he was focused into it. He trained how to kill you, he was not a sport fighter, he was a Street Fighter. Bruce was a martial arts teacher too and he created jeet kune do. He trained 6 days in week. To say he was only an actor is so wrong man. Even pro fighters are inspired by him, just watch what many of them say about him. Bruce was also ahead of his time. He was fanatic in his martial arts and how to train etc. Just look what McGregor or Anderson silva tell about him or other pro fighters. Bruce had also lot of challenger and he won, joe lewis was a champion and heavyweight back than and look what he said, he said bruce was the fastest he ever saw and he was strong like a heavyweight. Many people who knew him told this.
Example for you: 5 Years ago I had a street fight against a black belt in Karate and I won. I have no belt!! I mean, Bruce knew wing chun, fencing, Karate, Judo( lessons with gene lebell) etc etc! There is a reason why bruce inspires many pro fighters and still to this day he inspires! Just watch the docu "how bruce lee changed the world" and you will see! Look what even George Foreman says about bruce! But than you have people like YOU who says he was only an actor without knowing all about him! Go and watch the interview from Bruce with pierre perton from 1971 and you will see what he was speaking about martial arts!

Incredibile speed. At 5:38 you can see him practicing two punches. A lower punch followed by a upper punch. He does it slow at first, then one rep at max speed. On the video (recorded at 30 fps) we can only see one fast punch. One punch got lost in the space-time continuum =))). Truly a legend.

В совхозе в кинотеатре на 400 мест помню телевизор цветной стоял, и зал наполовину вроде был полный. Наполовину, потому что телевизор не видно было из второй половины. Помню брат, помню. Вот из Казахстана по путевке в Волгоград ездили, до сих пор помню, на первом этаже гостиницы "Ахтуба" видеосалон с тремя цветными телевизорами - это брат, была фантастика после совхозного видеосалона😀
To this day, I'm still impressed how he moved and how he executes his kicks. I always think Bruce had like spears for legs. And his footwork I have always replicated (to no avail) during my Taekwondo varsity days in high school.
