Way Too Hot To Weld on the D7 4T Caterpillar Dozer July 17 2024

it was not that warm when we woke up this morning but it got very warm very fast so we had to change what we had planned for today. instead we moved the D6 9U Caterpillar known as Roller-Less back in to the line up then moved the D7 4T caterpillar dozer known as Jack. the M816 military rotor wrecker had no problems doing the lifts on both cats. but 3pm it was way to hot for us to do any work so it was a day off. thansk

yes DIEvorce is all to common because that is the easiest way out plus some one gets all the assets and money too. the days of being married and working for the same goals are long gone. sad to see. thansk

thank you, the new world does not want hard working people that show up every day because that means full wages and benefits. the new world wants people not to show up and then not full wages and benefits paid out. the company is saving money in their eyes while they have no customers. thansk

yes so true on old music being made back then. i follow Rick Beato here on RU-vid ( www.youtube.com/@RickBeato/videos ) and with his grey hair, he points out the good old music compared today's computer made music. hard to say what will happen with the staff getting a job. most likely get jerked around like the other places she has worked in the last year. thansk

Been 112 and above for 2 weeks here in sin city Las Vegas. You can’t touch your hand tools without gloves if they have been in the sun, or you will burn your digits. On the plus side, it doesn’t get 40 below ever.

yes that is one thing we notice is how hot tools are to touch. we wear gloves in the winter when cold now where gloves in the hot days were are getting. with it being that hot down there, lake mead will be evaporating big time thansk

oh yes, if they are not cracking you are not working them hard enough. it is best they crack and usually crack in the same place which makes them easy to weld thansk
