The Wayfaring Stranger, a song about leaving this troublesome life behind and heading towards peace and comfort in the afterlife. What I've Done, a song about admitting to your past faults and moving on to become something better. Even though both songs speak of something different, I feel there's a certain similarity among them. That is, moving on from something negative, stressful, from hardship to something more peaceful, comfortable and optimistic. Putting these two songs together can imo alter the meaning of Wayfaring and rather than speak about dying, refer to a positive change, maybe leaving something unwanted behind, like a way of thinking for instance or a bad habit. That was kind of my thinking when creating this, but that's just my point of view. I wonder, what do you think about it? How does this medley make you feel? 🙂

- Does the middle part actually feel like a different Linkin Park song? Well, I guess yes, I just later realized this medley is kind of a mixture of three songs, as the harmonies in the middle part sound quite similar to Linkin Park's New Divide, rather than What I've Done 🙂
