I was a student in Wayfinders Program Class of 2014, One night, I was walking down to the gym which on Palazzo complex. The ground was slippery and somehow I fell back and my head hit the cement really hard and crack my head open, my other friends were there and trying to help me. it was around 10:30pm. I was panicking and scared, didn't know what to expect. We walked upstairs to coaches room and told them what happen, Ryan Wilson tried to take care of it and use glaze on top of it to stop the bleed. All the coaches tried call Shail and she failed answer the phone. I told them to call my mom and let her know what happen and So I had to use my phone call my mom to come down to help me because the coaches and staff failed call Paramedic or take me to Emergency Room. So my mom and brother drive over from 45 minute away and scared. So she got furious and took me to the ER and she even tried call Shail and she did not answer her phone. The cut was deep and the doctor told me that he was glad that I went to the ER because if I didn't, it would've got much worse. However, My mom also made report to Central Valley Regional Center to make sure they are well aware of it. Shail and the staff were not properly trained how to handle this kind of situation. They should hire coaches that have CPR trained and knows how to work with students with disabilities, in the past they hired coaches as students were not trained how to work with them. Some of the staff saying negative things to the students make them feel down. While students are in class, the coaches have keys access to our apartments and think they can walk in there anytime they want, when I came back from class and I notice my front door and bedroom was unlock when I knew I always lock the door behind me which got me thinking that they would go through your stuff.
