Waylon Jennings played his last major concert at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium in January 2000. Backed by the all-star Waymore Blues Band (“the band I always wanted,” he later recalled) along with his wife Jessi Colter and guests John Anderson, Travis Tritt and Montgomery Gentry, Waylon delivered a moving, exhilarating performance, revisiting his greatest songs one last time.
Waylon Jennings was an American country music singer, songwriter, and musician. Often credited as a pioneer of the outlaw country movement, a subgenre of country music that is characterized by its rebellious, anti-establishment themes and sound. Jennings had many hits, some of which have been covered by other artists or have become country classics. He collaborated with many other artists, including Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash.
His most popular and well-known songs include "Good Hearted Woman," "Luckenbach Texas," and "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to Be Cowboys”.
Similar artists to Jennings include Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Kris Kristofferson.

Lyrics:
Love is forever, baby so are we.
for every ship there is a shining sea.
for every heart, there is a waiting heart.
you are the light that lead me through the dark.
your love keeps shining like a star,
when i am lost i know, your love will find me.
love is the only chain.
i say, love is the only chain.
oh, love is the only
