I’ve been looking through different comments on music videos and sending you information on my daughter’s first song she wrote and sings on the internet. If you wouldn’t mind checking out Fish Hook River Studio Artist Series and look for MiKayla Koski -Time
They had something special, like Johnny and June. So sad that Wayon passed, but Jessie is still singing with her beautiful voice. She is putting music to scriptures, singing and playing the piano. Just amazing to listen to her. She had found love again, and remarried this Spring. I'm very happy for her.
Waylon and Jessi had I ain't the one and Johnny and June had It ain't me Babe. It so obviously was, for both couples, who were also great friends. God bless them both.
He would have been 81 this year (2018)! He left us way too soon. Rest in Peace, dear man. Thank God for the audio recordings and video tapes. Waylon Forever!!!!!!!!!
The Great "JC's" (June Carter & Jessi Colter) Blessed men Johnny & Waylon...I've always wanted to find a gal JUST LIKE THEM! RIP Waylon & Johnny This is KC & I approve this message
I think the older these got the better looking they both got. Waylon was a knockout goodlooking man especially after he let his hair grown long and added the beard and mustache!
I agree 100% about Jessi. She is a beautiful woman today at like 77yrs old. But DAANNGGG! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND Y’all that think Waylon was such a hot shot “beef cake” good lookin man. I DO NOT GET IT! What is wrong with y’all? LOL! Have we been seeing the same person all these years? Thank GOD we all have a different view on what “good looking” is.
Jessi wrote this song. This was recorded years before her own stardom with “I’m Not Lisa” and “Blue Eyes” etc. She was writing songs for others in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Waylon’s and Jessi’s voices did not always mesh ideally on every song, but this one, along with “Suspicious Minds,” their big hit from the “Outlaws” album, was perfect for them. I didn’t actually like most of their other duets-not because the songs were bad, but because their disparate voices demanded just the right material. To that end, if anyone hasn’t heard their song, ‘Deep In The West,’ search it on RU-vid. Their most perfect duet ever. Heartbreaking and uplifting. Wish Waylon had been with us longer. He didn’t get to enjoy that legacy-sealing, final “run around the track” like slightly lesser singers (sorry, Johnny Cash). Waylon’s voice was as great as George Jones’s. Jessi and their son have been fighting to get projects made and off the ground for Waylon’s overall legacy, but they really need a MOVIE about the making of the Outlaws album and those crucial years when they were all big stars and then Waylon came totally to the fore. That would be exciting, as a miniseries for HBO or any quality production. Maybe even a cinematic film, but everything’s streaming now, so I see a movie about the making of the Outlaws album; it brings the big names into focus and puts Waylon right at the top, which was the purpose of that classic record. Backstories galore. Excitement. Anyhow, love these two. Jessi’s almost 80 and she has a new album coming out and is touring with Margo Price, playing at the Ryman on March 9. God bless and keep that outlaw woman.
@@alicereinemo2010 yeah i’m fine thanks for your response hope you’re taking care of yourself over there i wish we could be friends and also get to know each other better
@@jamesmarc6844 It’s a beautiful sunny but cool day here in Canada . Hope you’re enjoying pleasant weather too , I was in Nashville for a week in October and I love that city
She would cry out her loneliness and feelings for him in music! Johnny Cash can relate to careful what you wish for. They both have knowledge of the stand by your man through thick and thin!
He was more and more gorgeous and charismatic as he aged❤. There was stronger female singers for sure, but these 2 had it. Destined for each other. true story of love. Waylon was THE best. I absolutely loved watching him, Willie and Johnny together. Its a pity James Garner wasn't part of the highwaymen aswell as Chris ❤ .Chris wasn't a strong singer either but those men loved each other. Thats what created the magic that we will never see again. Heaven has epic music for eternity ❤
Theres plenty of good country out now. WE just need to pay attention to who is who. The hippie /folk crowd slipped into our world in the 70's ..We appeal to their better nature I suppose... WE just need to make sure WE are the final JUDGE...God Bless to all my Southern Brothers and Sisters!!! TEXAS is here and counted...haha
If you're looking for someone who's got it all to give If you looking for someone who won't care how you live If you're looking for someone who's only loving you I ain't the one I ain't the one If you're looking for someone to dry your tears when you cry If you're looking for someone to turn his back each time you lie If you're looking for someone to walk on then walk by But I ain't the one I ain't the one I ain't the one to let you do what you want to I ain't the one who sits still and let you be untrue I ain't the one who'll go on loving you no matter what you do I ain't the one I ain't the one Just keep looking further down the road You might find yourself someone who likes walking alone Someone you'll play with and leave dead by the road I ain't the one I ain't the one [Outro] I ain't the one I ain't the one I ain't the one I ain't the one..
Waylon's last guitar player Jesse Dayton said you should have seen Waylons face light up when he would talk about her - even after all those years. She was his world
This song says it right. There's plenty of not rights to go around. When it came to finding love...I failed that test miserably. I admit that...I own my s***! But,I was not willing to be dumped on either...never set well with me.
man i tell u jessie has some sexy eyes, waylon was lucky son of a gun, just look at how she looks at him when he sings, man thats how its suppose to be(between a man and wife)
Watching Waylon and Jessi perform together, it seems like Jessi brought out a more soulful, side out of Waylon. He seems to sway to the music more. Being with someone you love does that to you.
@glencoe6305 I agree 100 percent Ralph (pick it moon) Mooney is the best ever nobody else even comes close . At the end of one of Waylons live alubms Waylon introduces Ralph and says "show em the foot that made Merle Haggard a star moon " I love that part ha ha ha
Actually, this was way before Carpel Tunnel. He's wearing them because his wrists were broken and the bands helped keep them straight, he broke them whle playing outside with a little kid.
