Thank you Curt for filming the most epic adventure I’ve ever been on! And thank you Snow for helping me not chicken out last minute. I was scared at the top, haha. Ok -I was kind of scared the whole time! It doesn’t seem real even though I see myself. Memories for a lifetime❤️
I concur that was an absolutely gorgeous hike but coming back down was a no thank you moment! Looked scary as hell & I'm watching from my livingroom! 😱
I so agree, I would get up fine but then they would have to send up food and water because I couldn’t come down. It would be my new home. Lol amazing Curt!
I am so nervous watching you!! With camera equipment in both hands, not holding any rails!! I’ll be exhausted by the time this video ends!! Thank you and Ashley for taking us along. The only way I will ever see it! Curt, you are in such amazing shape to do all you do!! Kathi
Bucket list destination! The stone work blows my mind. Just thinking of how that was built so so long ago. Hard to wrap your mind around! Thanks for taking us along! 💖
Curt - This was the most terrifying climb yet and you managed to film something most people will never see. This is why the two of you have the best travel channel on RU-vid...I have a much greater appreciation for Machu Pichu now and how difficult it must have been to build those steps up to the peak. This was just epic. And kudos to Ashley as well...she'll certainly have a story to tell. Thank you for taking me along. xo Suzi
I would seriously lose my lunch on that trail. Curt should become a guide, he is so helpful and encouraging to Ashley and in general the nicest man on RU-vid. This was epic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the video of the year!!!!
Wow Curt, from one person who has a great respect for heights to another, huge kudos! Watching you and Ashley climbing back down off the top was crazy. Can't believe you were able to walk out to the edge for a better look, I would have been frozen with fear of falling off the edge. Snow, you definitely made the right call. Those steps would have killed your new knee. Loved all the amazing videos of the climb and Snow's day in town. Thanks so much for taking us along. Stay safe on your travels, 🤗🇨🇦
Omg, breathless watching this video. I'd be hugging the mountain going up and hugging the stairs going down. No wonder there were no alpacas on this trail! Lol! Cudos to Kurt & Ashley. You did it!!
OMG you two really had me holding onto my seat!!! Congrats Big-time for that climb and the decent which was as bad cause it's straight up then down!!!! I give you praise for doing that for sure!!! What a channel!! Best video's ever! ❤
WOW!! All that uneven ground going straight down. I would never even attempt it. Terrified of heights. You both did a great job. The views are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I'm still watching but had to say that is so beautiful but I give it to you guys I'd done lost my balance and fell off of it but so amazing guys thank you for showing the beauty in the world places I'd never get up close and personal with if it wasn't for you guys, thank you so much for sharing.
Oh my...beauty beyond words! Curt, thank you for sharing! You and Snow are a huge inspiration to me! Love n hugs to you both from the Canadian prairies!✌💖
Well, what a way to start my Wednesday morning!! That hike was next level terrifying and beyond beautiful. Thanks for risking your life, Curt, and carrying that camera so we could go along. You guys are the best!
Pencil time. Seriously. Epic hike. I marvel at the fact that people made those steps, walls.....etc. WOW. The 360 view..........no words!! Beautiful and fun town.... I just love you guys!
Absolutely Phenomenal!!! That hiking trail is truly “The Hike of all Hikes” to Waynapicchu summit, across & above the epic Machu Picchu, both are true “Wonders of the World “ I saw what I could never see if it were not for Curt making the unbelievable and steep hike with Ashley! Thank you 🙏🏻
Well thanks for the tingling legs and toes and the nausea at the Crack of dawn..! Absolutely amazing 👏 thanks for sharing took it off my bucket list lol. Stay safe my peeps!
You guys have take alot of amazing places. 🎊🎉😱 Places most of us will never see in person in our life time. 🧘♀️🙋♀️🙏🦋🐈🙀 Thank you! For all the work you put into traveling, the hiking and dealing with personal challenges 💖💖💖
Watching you ride the bus makes me realize what a risk you took being on it. Four people were killed and 16 injured after one of these buses plunged down a ravine the other day. One Canadian was killed and I am a Canadian so it was on our news. You not hanging on while going down those steep steps was also scary Curt, one misstep and you were over the edge. Well done Ashley, you overcame your fears going down, I could see it was not easy at the start for you. People often don't realize it is easier to go up than down. The hike up Wayna Picchu was out of this world. Well done, I think you were the oldest dude on that trail Curt. 👍This video and the one of you at the Inca graveyard were both literal cliffhangers. You two are almost at a hundred thousand subscribers and you deserve it. Good Luck. Going to be hard to top this video.
You are amazing people! I’m sitting here crying because of the beautiful things you are saying and sharing with us. I told myself I could never make a climb like that. Too scary. Too narrow. Teeny tiny steps. Thank you for Sharing it with us.
Many thanks for the great town tour Snow 👍. Wow Curt & Ashley's trip up the mountain was both very spectacular and also scary in places .........fantastic views, many thanks 🙂
I have never been afraid of heights. I love mountains and going to the top of skyscrapers. However, after watching Curt and Ashley do this hike I now am suffering from agoraphobia. 😱🤣. You guys are world class champions in my book. ⛰️👍💯. I kept thinking that all it would take is for one person on the path to trip and fall and it would have a "domino effect" on everyone below them on the path! Lordy, lordy I need to sit down 🤣. Snow and Curt, as a long time subscriber this vlog has got to be the most impressive one you have produced so far. 👌 Curt, you have got "Balls". I don't think that you are going to be able to top this adventure for its entertainment value. Knowing you, you will come up with something to equal or top it in your future journeys. Snow, you must be happy that you stayed in town to enjoy the scenery and the markets. Take care, please give my congratulations to Ashley and have a great week. 👍🤗❤️🙏🌎
That. 👏Was. 👏The. 👏Definition.👏Of 👏*EPIC*!!! Curt, amazing photography. Ashley - way to go, you were a BEAST! Thank you so much🥰 for sharing that hike, I will never forget it.
Wow! Simply stunning, especially the epic panoramic view from the summit. Thank you Curt for capturing these amazing shots and sharing with us all. Congratulations to Ashley for making the journey. And Snow I’d be there right with you. I would have never made it with my legs. Thank you both for another wonderful video!
Thank you for taking us with you Curt! Over the years I developed a fear of heights. Just watching this, I was so scared my feet were sweating and I wanted to faint. But I wouldn’t miss it for the world! 😱🥰
My favorite episode so far! Steep ascent with huge steps, so many steps. Curt you are a quick downhiller! Made my knees ache just watching you. Glad Ashley could join you. Thanks for taking us up Waynu Picchu.
You wonder how healthy the builders were to put in a zillion stairs up and down those mountains. When the stairs were so small Curt said you could put your toes in them, I knew right then, that even in my younger years, I don't think I was ever that strong. Snow you have managed to see this beautiful country, all with a new knee. I am so thankful for both of you because I would never, ever see this part of the world without you. Thank you, again.
Snow andCurt, I used to travel around America in an Airstream. I am working now and can not travel like before. Everyday I can hardly wait to see your travels. I am traveling thru your feet and have a great time, especially in the jungles. I watched your trip to Manchu Pichu twice. I can not thank you enough for taking me along with you. God bless you and keep you safe. Susan Gray
I been in Wayna Picchu in 1990, by that time going up wasn't easy at all and not many people go up because the road was not like this days (fixed) and with more cable that helps a lot and also not many tourists go to Peru, because the terrorism and wasn't save (back there in the 80s and 90s) anyways glad you did it, to me it took 35 minutes to reach the top of Wayna Picchu, by the way in the 80s and early 90s going up to Wayna Picchu was free no extra money to pay but you have to sign your name to make sure they know you back down safe, ones you reach to the top you feel like in heaven and is so beautiful 😍 cheers 👍
Amazing, I could go up part way but couldn’t come down my fear of heights! Even in the video whoa, I’m very impressed!! Fantastic video I’m so glad I watch your videos. Always look forward to next one!
What an amazing adventure. It boggles the mind as to how this trail to the top was ever built in the first place! Curt, you and Ashley rock. Congrats and thanks for taking us along for the climb. Love your channel. Hi to Snow safely on the ground. ❤
Thanks for the amazing drone video! It took me back to my hike at Waynapicchu over 30 years ago (before there were handrails and the trail was exclusively narrow Incan-made steps.) Vertigo, indeed! Should you visit other places in the Sacred Valley around Cusco, you might want to consider using Peruvian pan pipes as background music to better convey the rich heritage of the Peruvian people rather than the heavily synthesized “Anglo” tracks.
Unbelievable! I had to keep picking my jaw up off my desk - those steps were terrifying! Perfect song choice - Curt & Ashley are legends! Great shots of an absolutely awe-inspiring place. Easy to see why it's on everyone's bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
Epic! thanks for taking us up with you Curt. Totally enjoyed your commentaries and I felt like I was with you and Ashley. Breathtaking scenery! Excellent video guys! Ashley goes home with a lifetime of adventures And documented!
Ah, Curt, you did an absolutely amazing job videoing your hike up the mountain! Those steps were tiny! You will never forget your mountain hike journey! And may I say, your music choices, Snow or Curt, were excellent! That trail was sketchy! Snow, your tour of the village was awesome too! It must have took decades to make the cobblestone streets and walls! Very beautiful, guys!
That was some of the most beautiful views i have ever seen! Thank you for taking us along. And Ashley, so proud of you for trusting Curt in his crazy adventures lol. You’ve voice is amazing by the way!!
OMG! WOW! No words can explain what I just watched. Curt you are a hiking fool for sure. What an amazing video. Thank you for videoing this hike. It is not a place I could ever go to or hike. Wonderful video. Sharing it on.
OMG! This was another Curt-drol-the-camera-and-focus-on-staying-alive moment!! Loved the hike. It was great to see how horrible it is. I was thinking about following you your footsteps, Curt, but I don't think I can do it. I have a fear of heights. Usually that doesn't stop me. When I was in Tenochtitlan, I climbed the pyramid of the Sun. Going up was not a problem. Going down, on the other hand.... I had to sit on my butt and go down step by step that way. O had a similar experience on a set of stairs in Brazil. It led to a shrine. But the steps are SO narrow on the path, that I don't think I'd be able to come down if I were to climb it. And as I write this, I'm thinking that going backwards on my fours may be possible, just like Ashley did. Hah! Very surprised about all the steps the Inca made. I can't even imagine them doing all that to get to the planting terraces.... and then coming back with a heavy load of corn on your back?!! Snow, loved the new hat, but I was disappointed in you. With an awesome baby alpaca head beanie you chose a baseball cap?!?! Oh, the nerve! 👲
Wow wow wow, what a stunning place you went to today and all the time you’ve been in the area. I love watching the way you tackle climbing obstacles and then celebrate the views. Nothing like watching you both doing these things.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Your presentations are always so beautiful. I’m very glad Kurt didn’t hike alone and Snow got the break needed. Hope your shopping trip was very enjoyable Snow
Wow! What an amazing video you have shared with us. I wanted to go before, but now I can't wait to see it with my own eyes. You made Machu Picchu come alive. I've watched you guys from the beginning. I'm so proud of what you've accomplished with your channel. Your content is always so exciting to watch. You make a great team and are so relatable. You've almost reached 100K! We're all going to cheer with you when you get there! I think this video will push you over the top.
Thanks for the continuous video. I cried the whole time. Absolutely beautiful countryside and loved the hike. Something I always dreamed of doing but never could due to heart issues. Snow surely feels the same. Thank you so very much for sharing. I love seeing you both having so much fun.
We took a private tour of MP but didn't climb like you did. We plan on returning and doing it though. How awesome it must have been! I mean, just MP itself is breathtaking but up where you went....no words. My sis-in-law and I stayed 2 nights in Aguas Calietes at Terrazas Del Inca Bed and Breakfast which is up the hill before the hot springs. Wonderful folks that ran it and our room was spotless. Both nights we had dinner at Incontri Del Pueblo Viejo restaurant which is a Peruvian-Italian fustion. It was so good! We stayed 2 nights in Olly at Munay Punku B&B. Wonderful family. Our room had a private bath and everything was fresh and clean. Views were beautiful. If you go to any restaurant, it has to be Puka Rumi. It's a second floor location. The absolute best salad I ever had in my life the first time we were there (Incan Avocado Salad) and my SIL raved about the tropical sweet and tangy salad. The next evening we had chicken and beef kabobs. Outstanding. Stay safe!
I have loved watching you guys travel all over south America, I am so glad you shared the beautiful mountains and river valley and and world famous ruins, that was alot of steps you took! I will never see them in person, but your tourist adventures help me feel like I am there with you. Safe travels!
Oh my gosh!!!!! I used to skydive but that hike scared me to watch. No rails, nothing. People could have died if they didn't catch that landslide in time. What a day Curt. Don't know how you filmed it. Thanks Snow. Always enjoy the local scene.
Wow. I'm tired! That hike ... glad you were able to do it, I'd have been terrified and bawling! Held my breath til you got down from there, but I know it's another once-in-a-lifetime hike and thank you for taking us along with your "hinds feet on high places." Snow - glad you enjoyed the city, and I'd have been enjoying it with YOU!! What a day for the 3 of you!
This was an amazing video. Thank you for taking us on this journey.. Snow I am so glad you stayed behind and were able to show us this cute town. Ashley did a amazing job for someone who doesn't hike she looked like a pro.
Super steep, oh my Gosh, you are so right! Snow I know you would have loved to go🥰. But Curt does such a great job documenting the climb you can almost feel yourself there with them🥳. Gorgeous!!
Great video! My wife and I have been loving your adventures. You guys are so lucky to be living your dreams. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming!
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing hike with us. I will not ever physically be able to do something like this (good call Snow) so would never have seen it without you. I cannot believe how much footage you got so it seemed we were going along with you. I was yelling at the screen for you to be careful and put the camera down! Nerve wracking, incredible hike. Thank you Curt and Ashley (& Snow)
I have no words just WOW. I think Curt you filmed it better and more realistic than the Discovery Channel. With one hand OMG ! AMAZING . I lift my hat !
Talk about sitting on top of the World!!!! The breathtaking views were phenomenal, as always thank you for your intrepid videography! The Snow & Curt channel is inspiring beyond belief!
Congratulations.....I have been following you for a long time, and I can say that climbing Waynapicchu is a big work, you are amazing, I loved all your videos and I love all the music you use in your videos. You and Snow are very brave.
Oh wow....best, most spectacular video ever.....thank you so much Curt and Snow!! I visited Machu Picchu in 1977, when believe it or not my camera broke down.....what a time to have that happen. 😊😊😊
I climbed Matchu Picchu in 2019. It was amazing. I did not use walking sticks, I used a cane. It worked great for me. It looks like you guys went to steeper walking trails than we did. I am very glad I did not go on some of your trails. They would of had to helicopter me off. Many of the trails you were on are WAY TO STEEP FOR MY NERVE TOLERANCE!! GREAT VIDEO!!! Glad you and Ashley were able to do it safely!!!! ✅✅✅✅✅
Oh my goodness Curt! I’m not usually bothered about heights at all but watching you clamber up those narrow steep paths, with nothing to hold onto apart from your camera, had my stomach in knots! What an amazing spectacular climb and view! I’m sure Snow was so glad just watching the rerun when you were both back safe!,
Just want to let you know...YOU INSPIRED US! Ok, we may not be ready to go around the world, but lookout North Americe! Here we come! We pick up our new 5th wheel Saturday! We hope to be full timing in 3 years. Thank you, guys, for inspiring us to trust ourselves and go for it! ❤❤❤❤❤ Btw, I think this is one of your best adventures. Absolutely stunning scenery.
Omgosh. Ashley and Curt were amazing. I was immediately dizzy when you panned down those steps. I’ve hiked the Great Wall of China where visitors didn’t go and that was a bit unnerving but that was 16 yrs ago🤣🤣🤣. Just stunning views. Thank you💕
Woowwww!! 🤩 Ok, this officially made it to my ongoing bucket list (I’ve only checked off about 20 countries so far, 4 of which I lived in, yet the list keeps growing exponentially 😅) My dear Snow and Curt, I have to credit you for inspiring me to go after my international dreams post-pandemic: I got my Mexican residency last month! Planes, trains, bycicles, busses and endless trecks, here I come 💪🏻🥰 🌎🏔 🇲🇽 🇨🇦
I close MY eyes when you point the camera down🤣😂. Thank you once again for taking us along to places we or at least me, isn't going. I'm on ❄️ team 😂🤣...
Wow, just wow, well done to you and Ashley on that climb, I started watching this on my iPad and then switched to the tv to watch. Absolutely stunningly scenery, the views all the way up and down were spectacular, I was just in awe of it all and then that 360 degree view at the top, well I was really emotional at seeing that. I’m not sure I could have done that climb. Amazing, one you will never forget. The music was so lovely, you are both legends
Snow is a great tia (aunt) looking in the market for unique items while the trekkers bravely ascend the tiny steps sharing the views while dealing with danger and thin air. All Curt's video skills from previous hikes really pay dividends in this video, and he even finds a swallow keeping an eye on movement in the sky. I hope you pause to smell and listen to the sounds before moving day as you gaze one last time at the mountain you ascended.
Wow! Way to go Curt and Ashley! That hike looked super sketchy! Glad you both lived to tell the tale! You three have some great Macau Picchu memories!😎👍🏻
By the way Machu Picchu still hidden the secret and there is a lot of work to do and discover new roads and incas construction, besides that you reached Wayna Picchu there's other places around the Machu Picchu City to see and enjoy what the Incas did, thanks for the video, seeing from far away my Country now I appreciate more how beautiful it is, take care🙂
Epic’s the word! In the old days when I was travelling I’ve used to mail my shopping findings back home to friends and it made the homecoming a bit less disappointing;)
DIZZYING!!! Wow! What a strategic military view! In the vast mountain range, Machu Picchu is but a Spec! Ashley IN WHITE JEANS TO hike! Wow, and they seem to still be clean! Man, that little town is a hopping tourist place!! Great Video, TU!!
My last hike was nothing like that but was 5 miles up and down stone steps in the wrong shoes AND it started raining about halfway through. It ended up being my last hike ever. I will hike vicariously through others like y'all from now on. I appreciate your sharing your adventures!
OMG!! Watching your calves burning 🥵 going up those tip toeing stone steps going up up up 😬😳😳 I am out of breath watching you climb up Curt! Gorgeous views up the mountain 😍😍 No flipping way I will venture that! I would pass out along way. That’s so scary! You make it look easy Curt. You made it!!! 🙏👊🙌👏 Now going down. Ahhhh!! 😮 Feeling dizzy going down with you 🥴 Helicopter would have to come and get me down! 😂 Hope you didn’t blink your head going down that tight fitting cave 😳 Ashley did awesome climbing with you guys. That’s just way to narrow and steep going down without falling over 😳😳 Hope your knees are okay Curt. Congratulations Curt and Ashley!!! 🙌🙌 Beautiful music along the hike. You run going down!! Crazy Curt!! I would definitely stay with Snow and tour the town 😁 Thank you both for an epic tour 😍😍😍 Love and cheers from Canada 🇨🇦💕💕💕 What was the music you played end of video when Snow was walking?
