Turn our life upside down at 50 to join the Full Time Van Life? Sure!
We sold everything we owned... including our home in Florida. Why? To move into a 94sf Self Converted Van to travel the world! Yes, we became Full Time Van Life Travelers! To do this, we retired from our careers before turning 50, said good bye to family and friends, left our old life behind and hit the road with our 2 cats... Vanna & G.
The plan? Travel the world in our tiny house on wheels! We are 5 years into our journey and we have toured the USA, Mexico, Central America, and South America. We are headed to Europe next where we plan to spend several years getting to know all of the hidden gems that the continent has to offer.
We expect this journey to take us a total of about 15 years... we travel slow so that we can dive into the local cultures. It will be full of surprises, ups, and downs... but we hope you will come along for the ride!
I Just don't understand the appeal of the Hortobágy in Hungary. ther is literally nothing. just flat plain fields, couple of buildings and that's it. Not sure why the country hiped it up so much. There are much nicer areas, Balaton area and everything in the oupper left quadrant.
Yup, there's a reason why everybody knows the phrase "The Alps" ... it really is special. Delighted for you that you got to taste all of the majesty and beauty.

Austria’s mountains are spectacular in the National Park……totally envious right now! I noticed the sheep very close that ledge just grazing 🙂 You have to think of the people who built that incredible road you carefully drove on up & cautiously down, no brake burnout now that you have new brakes!! Great driving as usual Kurt & the Austrian signs are well placed! The roads are very narrow yikes!! Unspoilt running water could you drink it? Stay safe as I enjoy & love your Vlogs! 💜💙🇦🇺🐨

I grew up in Slovakia, but when I turned 22 I left the country immediately. It was one of the best decisions of my life. Not every slovak is like them, but way too many are and it's not worth to live amongst these toxic people. I don't mean to disrespect anyone with this, because there are exceptions, but the type of mindset this guy has is unfortunately the common behavior there.
I live near Bled and have lived in Bled for 25 years. Maybe just some advice about the camper van. There is a large parking lot for your car only and it is 5 minutes away from the lake. Maybe you could inquire at a travel agency or maybe use google a bit. Sometimes you just have to put in a little effort and make an effort to see the beauty of Slovenia
Since the 1970s, a law has required power companies to place baskets on top of utility poles where storks live. This is partly for environmental reasons and partly for fire safety, as storks can build nests on exposed wires, which can catch fire in rainy weather. By the way, 'Polgár' and the surrounding area, due to its ethnic composition, require a level of caution comparable to walking in Chicago or Orlando at 2 AM.
The sightseeing you provide in your videos is spectacular. I really feel like I’m there. You make me want to go to places that I never wanted to visit before. Another great video.
