Love the mountains of west Virginia. I grew up in wayne county...out wayne!! Go pioneers!! Rich creek, sandy gap, high school holler, marion plymale, etc...etc.... Thelmas, blue bell, nelsons...now creekside (which sucks now) !! Beech fork and east lynn lakes....almost heaven!!!
Wayne Worth, thank you so much for the work you have done on the 55 counties of WV. Your contribution to my knowledge is immeasurable. In a couple of years or so I will be retiring and am looking to WV to live. Your series has been most informative to me. I want to live somewhere where I can help the people, especially the young ones. Your series is giving me an education I could have only dreamt or wished for. Thank you for the service you have performed young man. ;-)
wow i didn't know most of this. My family has lived in wayne and lavalette since before the civil war. I always wondered if we had slaves or not, we even have a genealogy book but there was never any mention. it's good to know we were abolitionists. its so cool to see your video I know all these places and all the roads felt nice to watch I've been away for so long. thank you!
I’m from east Lynn In Wayne County West Virginia it felt so good to watch places that I’ve spent growing up in and places where I have memories being showed to millions of people and educating them
Wayne has the largest Russian Orthodox monastery in America. How did you manage to not include it? Especially after including the Hindu temple in .Moundsville.
