Wow this is great! I hope you realize how much more creative, positive, and confident you appear to be lately. I myself have had a dry January and continued it simply because I wanted to quit smoking and alcohol will sabotage that. Anyway, I have been feeling much more energetic and happy myself. You go girl!
I've been feeling overwhelmed with not being in my planner lately. I just started this year. I have 7 sticker books already but have been ultra hard on myself when spreads don't come out a certain way. This was SO nice and inspiring - thank you for showing us all the different things you can do in your planner and also to not take it so seriously and just have fun! 😊
Thanks so much for sharing. When I first started the video, I was thinking that it wasn't going to be so useful for me, because I have so many stickers. But using the markers really does add such a creative look to your spread. And you had so many great ideas. And of course your spreads always look so nice and creative. I liked this video a lot. Yes! I love using colored pens in my planner. I use a ring-bound planner, so I have to use stickers sparingly or it gets too bulky. So besides using non-sticker deco to save money, that’s another reason. I’d love to see more videos like this. Thanks 💛

Oh my gosh you have no idea how much I’ve been waiting for videos like this!! I’m so tired of the sticker sticker sticker videos from every planner influencer. Let’s be real, we all can’t run to Michael’s , hobby lobby, Joann’s or order all of the stickers online all the time. Realistically we all have markers and easy access to markers. This is by far the best videos , the creativity you have is ENDLESS and beautiful. You are truly an artistic soul. I’d love to see more of these kind of videos please!!! I’m all for the saving money!!!!
Don’t know if you have done this yet but you should try a marker/pen only spread or even that could be a theme for a month in your creative journal 📔😊💛
I want to do 1 as a planner and a 2nd as a journal, in BIG. But when I have like nothing happening that day do I just add more stickers? Or maybe do grateful? I’m pretty boring… but I figured I could keep it for work to like for my annual reviews and stuff. I don’t feel creative tho but I have done stampin up cards before and they weren’t terrible.

This is so helpful! I love your videos and Happy Planning, but am not nearly as artistic as you-- so seeing these simple ways to add color, whimsy and dimension is so helpful! I'd love to see more videos like this!
At first I thought this wasn't for me because I have stickers to use...then I realized I also have alot of pens to use as well! Thanks for all the tips, I am really going to try to use my pens more decoratively! Do you have a video on using all the stickers? I have so many, I think they will outlive me lol I especially have a hard time using the little icons, bullets and letters!

I get so much more out of this after seeing a completed after the pen layout. I have now bought 3 happy planners this year and have yet to start. Any tips on mastering the initial fear?
Laurel Denise and Co. says “There’s no perfect in planning.” 😊 I say just do it. Start. Learn as you go what works and what doesn’t. Also, there are erasable pens and erasable highlighters if you want to use those.
