As you may have seen, v2.0 of the JPL 152 mod came out today - flightsim.to/file/2246/jplogistics-c152-enhancement-mod this guide should be broadly applicable, but the new version adds a few more features that aren't included here.
Sure brings back good memories from flying the 172 and 152 when a 172 wasn't avilable in real life .and it doesn't work( 152) it messes with other aircraft somehow Feb 05 2023 but this was an Awesome video Thank You
Inputs 2.5 in the auto, calls out out 2 on radio, blows passed 2 in flight, tsk tsk, about that checkride, sir... o.0 Hhehe, I kid, I kid, amazing vid, wisho more would do mock-checkrides on youtube, please keep it up :)
Enjoyed your flight, but your RPM was in the red for almost the whole time. If you have realistic mode turned on you would damage your engine. This is fun to try out. I blew up an engine by not paying attention to RPM. This mod is fantastic. I had been jumping in and out of much bigger planes and not flying well. Going back to this plane forced me to focus on flying properly. Love it.
I was also thinking this. I am a complete novice, I’ve done mainly circuits at my local airport, but I’d have dropped the RPM to about 2000-2100 for cruise?
great video. recently got the honeycomb alpha and bravo and pedals and need to learn to fly again. This plane is perfect forthat. Biggest struggle currently is crosswinds and turbulence, but that's also a lot of the fun
Love your videos! When your at cruising speed, should you have been at 2300rpm? (just curious) started my PPL and thats what they teach us in the 152's, maybe on the sim its different
