I think it’s kinda weird that Torres doesn’t give high fives to Lacey when she lands a trick but when she herself lands a trick she put her hands up going in for a high five pretty much asking for one. Idk it’s a small thing but it shows a lot about a person

THAT WAS AWESOME, Sk8 is for everybody! Is not easy to be a girls and do This LEVEL of skate, all the girls were awesome! Look to your local parks and see how many girls have to bust her asses just to try to fell the same attention! And im not saying only media attention but the support from their families and friends is also very hard if you are not a boy! WATBB1 WAS A MARK IN SKATE history! And it was epic, thanks for everyone that make it happen! And congratulations Monica! Era seu faz tempo já!

Its really cool to see how they're totally different competitors, but they both have unreal sportsmanship. On one hand you've got Lacey who made more mistakes and was a little more loose with her movement but was laughing and having a great time, while Monica was way faster and more precise (and to me seemed to do harder/more complex tricks) but was a little more of a hard-ass. But the whole time they're supporting each other and having fun, cause as intense as skating is its still just a game with probably the best people in sports

For a BATB final the caliber of skating was a little low, was expecting fast skating and tricks getting stomped but what can you do. It'll probably be super polished next time they do a female BATB.
