I picked one up part of package deal, it looked like it was left unused for very long time and had surface rust so clean it up and it cleaned up good. The insert actually didn't want to come out and I wasn't sure how it went it so I found your video, after light tapping and turning it came loose. It had large insert and I tested Benchmark which is short stick powder and it metered well without binding and it was accurate to 0.12gr max spread, I did 2 tests and both came up with same number. I have accurate scale that measure to 2/100 of a grain so I knew it's accurate. I discovered after few days that there was also pistol insert in the box to my surprised (I didn't know it comes with 2) but unfortunately it was big disappointment, I've tried 700x powder which is flaky and it would bind the rotation of the rotor pretty bad. You mentioned something about older measures doing that, I think it's 15 years old. I've tried another powder - W231 and it would cycle but still had some stiffness, it was doable but wasn't perfect like my RCBS. I've tried loosening the set screw and thumbnut and it helped a little but I was disappointed. Any suggestions on how to prevent binding with pistol powders? P.S. The pistol insert didn't have perfect edges, they were slightly rounded a just a bit rough but at same time it didn't bind without powder. P.S.2, IMO Redding has the worst paint job, RCBS is nicest but even Lee is better!

how do you swap out the 3br powder drop tube? I can't find any videos for this swap.

The Redding Match Grade 3BR Powder Measure Model# 03500 only comes with the Universal Metering Chamber. What model# is that Pistol Metering Chamber for the 3BR? or Did you get the 3BR that came with both Pistol and Universal metering Chamber? -- Thank you, Pat

Other than the micrometer on these, how does the Redding product in powder measures measure up against Hornady's powder measures? They look really similar? Also, I purchased the 10x for doing my pistol stuff. Did I do ok? Is the 10x gonna be proper to use when reloading for 44 mag? Thanks
