The citizens living in areas prone to flooding should be moved to safer areas. There should be suitable homes for them. “Informal” homes, shacks are unacceptable. Informal homes, how eloquently said. The problem is that the living condition isn’t eloquent, it’s absolutely unacceptable. There should be low income housing for all. The land and home issue must be addressed. No later, now. It’s an absolute shame that the South African government has not fixed this ill. Again, as I stated, if this situation still existed under white apartheid, there would be an uproar. Take care of the least of them, provide at least a humane safety net.

Yea it’s freezing, and there are people who are citizens that are freezing and homeless, it’s not much of a laughing matter, nor humorous.
