A sign-off in English from Chicago's then-Univision affiliate, mentioning 4 translators - one of which, for some reason, is mentioned only in the audio track. Received at Kendallville, Indiana, 127 miles DX.
There is a Spanish version of this sign-off which ends with "ahora finalizan sus transmiciones." This means "now leave the air", but un-literally, it means "now finalize their transmissions (or diffusions)".
W65BT is the modern day WBME-LP/LD (41) They moved there in 2000-2001 with the calls W41CI. Ran Stock Market Observer, along with some America One programming. It would eventually become a local clone of WCIU. WMLW were the call letters. Runs much of the same Independent programming as WCIU, in addition to the same voice over talent. WMLW moved to the full power Channel 49 a couple years ago, and ME-TV took over the 41 slot.
If you really concentrate on the "26" really closely it forms the letter "U". Then again the WCIU calls stand for We're (C)hicago's f(I)rst (U)HF station. Weigel is of course also home to the This TV and MeTV digital net services.
sometime in the late 80's, in Milwaukee, channel 55 changed to channel 65, sometime after the maximum speed limit was raised from 55 to 65 mph on rural interstates & some rural freeways, which I would say is coincidental.
The reason why Rockford translator W12BK was only listed in the V/O was because while the extra station could easily be spliced into the audio, the station ID still was from an animated one (as seen in your other WCIU sign-off with the ending to "Informacion 26"; that one also listed W12BK only verbally) and thus the graphic would have to be redone.

Our stations now leave the air."
From I've been told, the V/O actually sounds like it was by Carmine Anthony, who hosted the station's long-running morning business program, "The Stock Market Observer."
Our Russian television channel Petersburg-Channel 5 was converted to a frequency of 10 TVK television channel because it interfered with the military are not much interfered with the broadcast television channel in the city of Ulan-Ude and thus they cause interference
