Hey, great cover. WCW vs NWO Revenge is one of my favourite childhood games ever, and the OST kicks ass. It is nice to hear the Starcade Theme with more realistic sounding instruments.
Thank you, glad that you liked it! I also had a ton of fun with that game back in the day, and the soundtrack definitely yearned for some metal coverage. It was fun to twist this one with a more stylized rendition!
Are u interested in covering the intro for this game?? Its honestly i think a ton of fans from that era would love. As one i can say its been a long time coming
A lot of this soundtrack would definitely sound good if performed by a metal band, and the intro is awesome, but I did this one because it sounds closer to what I enjoy the most, mixing metal power with epic melodies. The intro is very riff-based.
Not sure if you will read this or if it is feasible, but if possible would you be able to provide me with the stems of this? Or at least a version without drums? I'd like to mix this with my 70's Ludwig and a few other kits to see if I can give your cover an extra punch. Everything else is perfect, but I'm a big proponent of making instruments sound as close to an album release as possible so I'd love to play around and get that sound out of it. Authentic drums would sound incredible with this. Obviously all credit would go to you, wouldn't use it as my own, etc.
@@CarboHydroMusic That'd be awesome! Assuming RU-vid won't censor it and stop you from posting it in the comments, which address works best for you? Worst case scenario I can look for it in your bio if RU-vid prevents you from posting it.
You can see the address on my channel as long as you are signed in. Otherwise you can also find it one either my official website or my video game music arrangement repository website, both are listed in the video description. I've put together a premaster mix with no drums for you.
