This is from the Wednesday before iHeart's cost cutting claimed G105's morning show. They fired the entirety of the morning show team, one of them being the program's producer and 10-1 [Ryan Seacrest slot with local inserts] station coordinator Benjamin "Producer Ben" Harris (heard here in this capture giving a live read of the nationwide/parent company wide cash contest keyword). Later the following month G105 would be introducing a then recently syndicated "The Fred Show" from WKSC in Chicago, Illinois. That move would officially conclude over four decades of a continuous local morning show on the station with its current format.
Following the new syndicated programming's debut, Meghan LaMontagne would be reinstated and immediately would be moved to the 10-noon late morning slot, a slot in which would continue to program until November of that year. Towards the start of May, Erica DeLong would move from her previous 1-5pm slot to 3-7pm, with market programmer Trevor Moroni joining her since. This completed the personality changes. The jingles and imaging which dated to early 2022 (some of which from time to time still referencing the by then previous morning program *with the exception of two sweepers, one of which would later be removed as well*) were changed that June to follow the other changes. This completed all of the on-air changes to G105 following the firings.
As a result, Erica DeLong would become the last G105-specific personality heard in the station, and "The Erica Show" (with the branch off live Saturday 8-10am slot which was a recap program of the morning show before the changes) would become the last of G105's local presence that for a long time equaled that of their competition.
As for the aforementioned morning show, all of the personalities having the resume of working a major market morning radio show, would all soon find jobs pretty quickly elsewhere. Danny Meyers would, starting in September of that year, resurface in a newer program (with a co-host named Meghan once again) over in Hubbard Broadcasting's Hot AC WRMF "97.9 WRMF" in West Palm Beach, Florida. Producer Ben would also resurface nearby as well, and at around the same time, working one market southward over on Apollo Global Management's Rhythmic Hot AC WFLC "Hits 97.3" in Miami, Florida as the producer of 'The Jade Alexander Show'. Meghan LaMontagne, as mentioned above, stayed in-market working the 10-noon on G105 until November, would begin substituting for the soon to be retired midday personality Diane Ramsey on Capitol Broadcasting Company's AC WRAL-FM "Mix 101.5" and would officially be the replacement once the former retired in March.
