I genuinely have never played a game with better built in comedic timing, its insane how well the game is designed to just generate naturally hilarious moments.
The turrets and the enderman looking guy are perfect for this sort of situation. They perfectly ponctuate interactions with a quick over the top death. Like "don't worry! I'm fine" enderman dude swoops in at super speed and snaps their neck and carries them away, all in like 2 seconds.
Max said at the end of the session that he wanted to continue playing "right now" but had to go to bed. So don't worry, we're getting more Lethal Company.
Definitely one of your best videos guys. The doods' gameplay style could be described this way, basically: -Simmons - more serious about the whole experience. Always ambitious. Wants to get things done and is disappointed at the failure of mission or incompetence of his colleagues. -Max - presumably the leader of the team but often ends up in various, goofy situations. Has a knack for figuring out stuff while he's laughing his butt off. -Kenny - the lone ranger kinda player. He's never there when you need him the most but often ends up having groundbreaking discoveries. -Steeb - usually the one who unintentionally brings problems to your team but he does it in the most adorable way, so you can't be mad at him. Has occasional moments of brilliance while least expected.
This might be my most favorite Lethal Company Stream, just cuz of the sheer astounding number of unintentional Looney Tunes moments in just one stream. The barricading door and the where’s the gun section are the pinnacle of comedy
16:32 was the first (of many) moments that had me on the floor laughing. This game man, You can almost hear the loony tunes theme playing in the background.
In all honesty, this was my favorite stream to watch in all of 2023. The way you guys interacted in this was absolutely peak-entertainment. Laughed the whole way through.
I agree with what Max said on stream about wanting a Resident Evil multiplayer game like this. There’s so much fun stuff you can do with this concept, and ways to make it unique from Lethal Company, while still building on the best parts of this game. Personally, I’d make the game be about an Umbrella cleanup crew, who has to go and clean up any evidence of Umbrella’s operations after the RE protagonist has been there. These would be the lowest, most expendable employees on the Umbrella ladder, who just quickly get replaced when they die. Could even be convicts and the like for who Umbrella buys their freedom, which makes them indepted to them and forced to work. The game would have you visit locations from the games, where you’d be looking for any Umbrella related items, survivors to bring in, and monsters to kill and dispose of (if you can, as in Lethal Company, it’d be really difficult). The core location would be Racoon City, which would include places from the games, as well as brand new ones. Like Lethal Company, the layout would be autogenerated, but more like big prefab pieces fitting together in different ways rather than truly random. You’d also be able to unlock the ability to travel to other locations, like the mansion, and even places from later games unrelated to Umbrella (this can be explained as them doing “contract work” for them). There would also be somewhat randomized puzzles that sometimes pop up in levels, for that RE flavour, which if solved gives extra big rewards (as they’d often be multistep tasks, some might even require multiple players to be alive to solve them together). Since it would take place after an RE protagonist have come through and killed most monsters, monster encounters would be scarce, but very varied. Sometimes it’s just a zombie that can be dodged around, other times it’s a dog or a tyrant giving you chase. The bosses from the games would also be rare enemy spawns (the lore for them still being there can be explained away somehow), but if you manage to take them down without dying or running away, the rewards would be huge (this should be extremely difficult and rare to pull off). As the cleanup crew are the lowest among Umbrella, their budget is non-existent, so any tool or weapons much be bought with money made from their jobs (and weapons are very expensive, come with very little ammo, and finding one out on a mission is super rare). You can also run into the RE4 merchant on a level, if you can find him, and he sells some unique gear, but would require you to sell loot you find to him instead of to Umbrella for a unique currency, meaning you might not meet your quota to Umbrella (they don’t keep people who can’t do their job…) Your point of contact with Umbrella would be Wesker, who’s fully voiced (preferably by his old voice actor) and who talks to you over speakers in your van (which is your home area, like the ship in Lethal Company). He’d treat you like the most disposable part of Umbrella that you are, and the tone of his dialogue would give off the vibe that he’d rather do anything else but waste time having to guide you around. His dialogues would be a bit less serious and more comedic than RE, to contrast the scary moments when out on the job.
@@deathbringer9893 Sure, a select few people will. But it will be super hard to impossible for 99% of players, which is the goal. Same as with most games with optional super bosses and the like. Streamers and speedrunners have kinda skewed the perception of this, but the vast, vast majority of players never beat those, even with guides. Same would hopefully be the case for a game like this, where it would be so difficult that 99% of players would rather run out of fear than try to fight them.
@@CeHee123 While I can see the comparison, Umbrella Corps is still more combat focused and serious than I’d imagine this to be. Never mind that Umbrella Corps features competent mercenaries. The cleanup crew in this potential game would in my mind ostensibly be Umbrella’s janitors lol. And they’d be treated as incompetent by Umbrella command, and by Wesker especially. Since each of the game’s missions would take place right after one of their experiment fascilities have been destroyed, budget is kinda tight. And the board of directors refuses to give command more money to hire competent people for the job, as all of it is going towards building the next facility, so they are stuck with untrained and expendable morons (i.e the players lol).
@CrossfacePanda obviously a very different execution, but after that game bombed, I don't think they'd want to try another game with Umbrella employees.
seeing that this is part 1, I hope we get to see Max reacting to some of the clips in part 2 that were saved throughout the stream because it was hilarious seeing him go through some of the funny moments again before heading off
One of the most hilarious livestreams I've come across for sure. I appreciate Max and the doods trying to play through it as blind as possible, makes for a GOLD MINE of funny moments like these
I want to give a shout out to the editor for including the four different point of views whenever they could. You didn't have to, but definitely added to the entertainment of the video. I aspire to do simple stuff like that to bring out the most in a video. Great stuff!
This stream has gone down officially as a yearly rewatch and is forever a staple to how hilarious shit gets when the crew is together lmao. Just about time for this years compilation too hol up: PART 1??!?! We've never had a 2 parter hype and rage lmao.
Props to the editors!!! This is got to be one of the funniest and fun streams i watched!!! A simple game, fun execution, i laughed so much it hurts, I welcome it!!!! 😂😂😂
The best and funniest moments that you can ever have with Max and his friends playing the spiritual successor to Among Us as the intro speaks for itself. Best moments start here: 0:09, 2:30, 2:58, 3:39, 4:07, 5:10, 5:23, 5:49, 6:06, 6:57, 7:14, 14:00 (Not the bees, THE BEES!!!) 15:50... you know what this whole video is the best moments 🤣😂🤣👍👏.
Ive never laughed so much in my life at someone playing a game, getting chased by a flying bug then sounding a horn off as you run I could one each week of this 😊
this was such a joy to watch in full on twitch. Developer deserves all the praise, i hope bigger companies don't take advantage of their position because of their own shitty ideas
