Amber's such a big girl. 8 weeks is an eternity for toddler growth. She's a bit older than my daughter (like a week) and the things they can say, do and understand are mesmerizing.

I have emetophobia too and I've had 4 pregnancies (2 miscarriages and 2 healthy children). I never once threw up! I felt a lot of nausea but it never progressed thankfully! Not everyone does!

It is crazy to watch how fast babies change to toddlers. I’m preparing to enter toddler stage with my daughter in the next couple of months. Amber will be a great big sister.

@@paulaprosser7045 it’s awful yeah. Can’t say it was my best time though. I had a miscarriage before that & also had a very heavy bleed sending me to A&E with my 3rd child, all was okay though thankfully but the whole pregnancy I worried that I would lose her, then the nausea ontop of this mine went on for the first 5 months then stopped for 2 months and started up again for the last 2! 🤢

Hey girlie! Congrats on baby number two! With regards to your smell issues, it’s something I’ve had since I lost my taste and smell with covid back in 2020, when my taste and smell returned it was completely warped ; and things I never had an issue with tasted horrific! When I researched it I found out it was called parosmia, very little was known about it, but after seeing a pregnant woman say she felt the same as me, and had gone off everything she normally likes and that plain things (like carpet) smelt horrendous, I read more about pregnancy parosmia and found out that it was that your brain is trying to protect you , in your instance you and your baby .,,, for me it was after a traumatic virus , and it makes things taste and smell weird so that you only eat plain stuff, until you feel safe to again to eat normally, in pregnant women probably after 3 months, when you tend to feel relaxed about the babies safety! It’s all subconscious so it’s uncontrollable and will only rectify itself when our brain feels ready so it’s out of our control which is incredibly hard! For me, it’s been sooooo hard for me not to enjoy food for so long, but I know one day it will return to normal as many thousands of other people have said it did, over night randomly! Sending you much love and hope ya thing again soon, and stop hating the carpet smell lol I totally understand what you mean !,, xxxxxx
