it would be amazing to hear more about relationships. do you think it comes from parents family model? how you handle conflict resolution? do you get trigerred by some of Gus behaviours?

I think in a way it does. Gus’s parents have been happily married for a long time with truly great personal values and i think that set an example for him. Of course, it’s not always the case but i do think family matters. We handle any conflict by talking it out. Sometimes emotions can get the hold of us, but we always talk everything out. There’s nothing we leave unsaid. And about the triggers- no. Anything that might have been triggering to me in the past I have either resolved alone or together with Gus. Healthy communication again is EVERYTHING

Love the topic. How would you deal with parner being emotionally unavailable. I am very emotional, talk about all my feelings type of person but my partner doesnt't want to dig deeper, and conversations are left on surface level. arguments i hear that its normal that men doenst understand women, they don't really understand emotions, etc. are these stereotypes true?

Every couple is different, and while in some cases men might find it difficult to understand women (and vice versa), communication is the only way we can get a bit closer to the truth and get into each other's head. So, I think a great first step is saying to your partner how important it is to you that you communicate. Expressing the feeling that digging deeper is really crucial for you!

How to make your relationship last FOREVER......from a couple who's relationship so far hasn't lasted forever or even been remarkably long.

Remarkably can be defined as something surprising and unusual. For you a 12 year relationship at 26 might be something you see on every corner, and if that’s true, I love that that’s your experience. :) As for the” forever” part-yes, we could have made this video on our death beds, sure. But since forever is a choice and a promise, not a coincedence, the tips and habits are valuable at any given time 🤍
