Follow along as Kevin and I head down to Derby IN to add an extra valve to ‪@DirtPerfect‬ John Deere 850J dozer. He has a top secret attachment going on the back of this machine that he needs an extra valve to make it function.
Be sure to keep an eye out on his channel for the top secret attachment being built and in action!

I think you are making a sweet plow to install the utilities at Logger Wades families property, and other places after. The plow will be tested when you pull it up through that rocky cliff. The tracks are off getting bigger grouser pads or bigger tracks all together to help pull the new plow....maybe? LOL

When you need an extra valve, always add 2 because you will want another eventually. It also means there is a spare in case one wears out.

Great job Y'all. Little tip about when you have to disconnect multiple hoses I learned while doing engine and rotor transmissions on Coast Guard Sikorski helos and engine changes on GrummanHU16e Albatross seaplanes. Have on hand severa different coloredl felt markers and mark both sides of the connectors. In the 70's we used a Testors model cars and airplane paint set instead but today ya got permanent felt markers. We also took Polaroid pictures from various angles we could refer to once we were installing the new ones. Saved us a whole lotta grief and the wrath of a slightly ticked off Chief Petty Officer if we got any mixed up.

Thanks for the video. You are correct, If it was up to DP we would have to wait 6-8 months before he would say anything about this. Now the pressure in on him to release his video. It was good to see MBS there, as I was beginning to think DP had done him in or something as his stock answer was "he was off doing his other job" Just like Jimmy Hoffa 😃

I use that vacuum technique on my Powerstroke when changing the oil and filter. No oil drains until I shut off the vacuum source.

A good video. The comments about Mike (dirt perfect) from other veiwers aren't nesassary Mike does do good work. Clint you do a good job for what you do. Your profession is mechanical. Why can't we petition Mr DP to advance this apparatus to show it sooner? Clint and Kevin, this was a very interesting video. look similar to the 8000 series deere hyd valve, we went through a rash of split them inside and lost pressure, what a pain that was to find and fix . those look way worse to replace in that hole especially trying to keep that little round disk in place while putting the valve on.
