Yep. In Korean Culture it’s common for friends of the same sex to hug and hold hands with each other. They don’t see it as sexual but as an expression of friendship and love, unlike the West and our overly sexualize culture.

It’s crazy because honestly everything that Yoongi says ends up coming true like from the bbma to the Grammys came true and he didn’t think about it so Army is like OH YOONGI SAID IT ITS COMMING TRUE They were presenters at the Grammys this year and were nominated for best recording package but sadly didn’t win but the nomination is still a huge achievement

Jimin's pose/stance comes from his contemporary/modern dance education, he's also trained classic ballet. All of it through high school. He is also a black belt Taekwondo. That man can do a split, tumble like it's nothing and folds himself into half. LOL

I love your reactions. It's real, and I like that a lot, but I have something to say. In America, men are so stuck up in trying not to come off as gay or too affectionate. It's always apart of them, the whole "masculine" be tough and strong but never show too much affection. If you travel anywhere outside of America, hell France even, you will see how men interact. They are sure of themselves and aren't scared of looking "gay" because they know their sexuality. They will literally embrace, some will go as far as to kiss each other cheeks. So yes, they are touchy-affectionate. They call each other brothers because in their hearts they truly are family. They basically watched each other grow up, this is years of bonding, literally even before they debuted in 2013. Suga is introverted, comes off as very serious, but he even lets it be known how much he loves them, and he is very touchy as well, you just don't get to see it here. If you ever end up watching their Run series or Bon Voyages, you will see how much of a family unit they are.

Seeing a lot of comments about Johnathan's comment of the guys being "touchy feely" and want everyone to know that Johnathan truly didn't mean anything negative about it. Its all about Love Languages. And some people's love language is Touch and that is more than okay. We know that the guys love each other and that is one of the ways they express love. There is nothing wrong with being "touchy feely". As you know...Johnathan is my brother and his love language is touch so he is the same way. We all express love differently and we respect those differences 👍🏼 💜💜💜 Now as for my comment about Beyoncé...thats a different story 😏lol 🤓

jfc people are mad sensitive. I'm gay (lesbian), so believe me I'll say something if someone is being shady, but Johnathan made a neutral observation and stopped there. no need for 200 comments repeating the same shit, lol. and tbh ARMYs need to face facts... BTS are way more physical with each other than most friends, family members, or idol group members are, even within their own culture (and I'm not talking about fanservice, so for other fans that see this comment, don't think I'm confused on that account). they are EXTREMELY close to one another. it's not a weird thing to notice. keep in mind when you're doing your thing for your channel that your audience can have unrealistic expectations of you *and* unrealistic views of the boys as well. even if 3/4 of your comments say a certain thing, it might not be relevant. so I hope you're not beating yourselves up for this :)

WhatchaGot2Say I’m so glad u understand the meaning of love language. Jimins love language is definitely touch. When asked who gives the best hugs, most members responded Jimin. Other love languages that define him are gifts (he started the tradition of buying gifts for members for their bdays); quality time (he is so supportive of members and friends accomplishments & shows up to support them); words of affirmation (loves positive supportive compliments about BTS).

In Korea is super natural for men to be touchy with each other, that’s not really an issue as it is in some western countries. I mean they really are brothers, they’ve been living together for like 10 years. If this makes you uncomfortable I will suggest to not continue watching these type of videos lmao, you will always find BTS hugging, patting their butts, cuddling, caressing their hair, saying “I love you” to each other, etc they’re super caring towards each other.

I think what actually happened at 12:58 was Jimin was about to say Fire and then Namjoon said it before him, you can see that he's starting to say it. I don't think he's tired of it at all, it's arguably one of their most hype performances 😂😂

From what I’ve seen, (one of their Bon Voyage’s I believe), Fire is not a favorite of Jimin’s. He prefers the choreo of I Need U more, but everyone else always chooses Fire.

We love these goofy guys. I feel bad for them when they are trying to keep up with some of the english speaking reporters and media.... sometimes I think they forget that English isn't their first language and even Namjoon gets a little lost when they go off on tangents and explanations of what they are trying to ask in the middle of the interview.... hard for me to keep up with the train of thought of the interviewer sometimes and I am english speaker born and raised. Love how they prank each other in the middle of being interviewed sometimes though. LOL.

C P What people forget is understanding English and interpreting live for others to understand are two different things. You need to be very good with BOTH languages especially in terms of vocab and the pressure of doing that simultaneously on the spot in front of millions of viewers. Suga isn’t always serious. He’s just a hard worker. I can’t wait for you to learn more about them and realize that they are such goofy, humble and genuine human beings. Suga is actually one of the funniest in the group. One of his favorite joke that kills me is when he said his mother told him she Gave birth to him under a bridge. BTS had a photo shoot at a bridge and he looked into the camera and said he was going to his birth place. I cracked up. Please keep reacting to them and learn more about them. These guys always put a smile on my face! Love watching your channel and seeing you get to know these 7 amazing goofballs! Jimin is very sensitive and hugs and emotionally supports the rest of the group most of the time. He’s the listener and is there to support his brothers whenever they need him. It’s normal in Korea to hug and such and is called skin ship.

Our darlin Kookie is also known as Bunny (bunny smile/teeth n we Love it) - Muscle-Bunny cos after he started seriously working out he’s become super strong - Thighs cos his are rocks (contest with the other guys- I thought Jimin and JK would have the same thigh strength but JK won) and Golden Maknae (youngest male in group) cos he’s good at Everything he sets his mind to! ... Jungkook is also known to eat just about anything and he has a voracious appetite! Touching and being close between members of the same sex is just Korean culture. When I lived there, my male high school students would regularly hug, sit on each other's laps, hold hands etc. (the female students would also do the same with each other). It is completely normal there and, in my opinion, western countries could learn from it. There is such a stigma here about any sort of contact being sexual, especially for boys and men, and it is damaging both socially and emotionally for them.

Just want to say, the reaction is good but my advice would be to wait a bit on these types of videos....there is SO much content out there and when you watch one of these, you're seeing the video maker's personal take on things and it can really lead to misinterpretation. There is still so much you don't know about the guys & their personalities yet and honestly these clips don't really do them justice

@@WhatchaGot2Say just fyi, i see some already but unfortunately you will start to see more comments stating one member is better than another at certain things, the dance for example. You will find that many ARMYs have a hard time being objective when it comes to them talking about their bias, or favorite member...some even treat it as a competition of sorts~it's a shame really, not the best side of ARMY. Just know that although they are all good dancers, the official dance line is JHope, Jimin and Jungkook. Apparently the BTS choreographer also stated that Tae was added to the dance line after he learned the choreo for his single "Singularity", but i've not seen anything that states this officially(not saying it didn't happen, i just have yet to see evidence of it). You will see that each member of the dance line(Jhope, Jimin & Jungkook-they have also been referred to as Triple J) are usually prominently featured in BTS choreo and all 3 excel in different ways☺

They touchy because it's their culture. In korea it's normal to hug ur brother or close friend or for them to kiss on the chicks or cuddle ( the kiss on the chick or nek actually is a form of affection and caring between brothers ). A lot of people don't know that and assume they are acting gay.

Always love how genuine your reactions are! Something that made me fall in love with BTS as a group (beyond their music and dancing) is how down to earth, sincere and goofy they are. And the way they care about each other like genuine family. You should see them share food by the way! As a western person I actually find it very impressive and adorable. Even my husband wouldn't share food with me like that! 😅

People pretty much explained their cute/affectionate culture already but it's also important to remember that they lived in a space where there were all seven of them in one room. I'm sure they've seen it all with each other in ways that average friends haven't so yeah, they're not shy about being affectionate just because they're in America. ALSO these crack/funny videos are a lot of fun but for newer fans I don't really recommend if you take them too seriously. They're all very shippy and full of inside jokes that casual fans may not really get. Like for example, them joking about the members sexuality can be a bit much, especially since we don't really know what any of them identify as but as long as you kind of just watch these for fun then it shouldn't be a big deal.

Yes our boys are extra af and this is them its why we love them they dont try to be perfect they just are themselves and yes they r touchy its their culture and they r like family so u will see alot of skinship with them but if u get into other groups u will see its just something they all do too its nice the openness u see its not something thats really done here but watch RM being done with bts english its hilarious

Love that their English is getting noticeably better! In a year or two, these videos will be less accurate! Some of our Bangtan Boys speak over 10 languages (albeit limited) cos they’re determined to speak directly in their own voices to ARMY when visiting to perform! Some of them are fluent enough to get by in Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin,.... and after promising ARMY to practice Really hard on VLive(?) ~ Jungkookie’s English improved exponentially! 💙💜🍪 Yoongi once said (while buying ice cream for the guys) although his english isn’t great; he thinks he’d be able to get by in America.🤔🤨😎😍

They are very touchy feely due to Korean culture. I actually really love that aspect of Korean culture because it allows people to be very free and open with each other and their emotions. It's unlike in America where we seem to have this fixation on "hyper masculine traits" such as not showing feelings, and not being warm and touchy with other people. So I find it very lovely that they're all so open with each other like the family they are. Also the shade being thrown around at 9:00 wtf lmao

@@WhatchaGot2Say there's this app called VLive you can download (or you can also access via web) and you can follow BTS channel on it. Run BTS currently has 83 episodes to date. Ep 24 is one of my faves 😂 You can find bon voyage in the same app but it's paid content, you have to buy every season. (Tho theres a lot of clips of compilations floating around here for both)

Being touchy in Korean culture is actually very common. Even if they aren’t apart of the LGBT+ community, they don’t view it as gay. The Korean and Japanese culture even believe that nudity helps break barriers and establish closer relationships. So really, being touchy feely just means they have a deep skin-ship relationship.
