My favorite color is purple and I asked my husband his fav color and he explained it was purple for the same reason Eli said. I'm his purple. I think its so sweet so when I heard Eli say it I smiled so big. So glad Lacey found a good guy who treats her like the Queen she is.
Hang in there Lacey, those baby blues are hard to get through, but it gets better. My lil one was a bad sleeper and made it a bit tougher, but I promise it gets better. You guys are doing great, much love.

Eli I think you just won valentines day when you told Lacey she is your purple! Love you both! Expensive dinners out are overrated. Although once in a while they are nice. But when I was a new mum, the best gift I could have gotten was sleep. Salt n vinegar chips are nearly as good though lol. I got my hubby a bag of his favourite snack type things. He forgot all about valentines (so you are not the only ones- but at least you guys made an effort when you remembered). It's Sunday here (New Zealand), so tomorrow I am going to go get myself some flowers. Bexley is super cute, although I'm sure there are some things she does that are not so much lol. Dear Bexley - that will be a great moment to embarrass you at your 21st lol.
It’s not the last holiday you’ll forget, some you may miss altogether. They become a little less important, once you’ve a baby to care for, and that’s ok. This time your spending with your baby, is the most important time of your lives. Just keep taking out a little time for the two of you as well. Nothing wrong with a picnic 🧺 with McD , it’s not about what you do, it’s the time you spend making memories. I am so sorry your dealing with pist partum depression, I saw that on your crazy middles. I also suffered from it, have you thought about planning your day out, and following it it helps you get things done, and on time. You claim you keep loosing track of time. It most likely is about the depression so by having a planner or wall calender you can follow everyday it will keep you on track.

That’s good to try to make date night as a couple and just focus on you both with out the baby but sure it’s hard to be away especially when breast feeding unless she doing bottle feeding instead . But glad the baby gets to see his family and also your family . And then spend time just as the three of you . Then also have her be with her friends or family or him be with his friends and family . Sometimes it happens you forget valentines day birthdays anniversaries it just happens my husband and I were married 51 years I lost him on Jan 19th when I woke up on Feb 13 and thought I need to go buy him something for valentines day then it hit he was no longer with me next month is his birthday. It’s ok to forget certain days. I have . Heck my mother forgot my birthday 2 years in a row & we laughed about it. I was grown. I’d normally get my birthday stuff before the day . She’d say something like u r grown so u know how it is lol. U 2 got each other some good stuff. What’s funny is u got him sweatpants & he got u a sweatshirt. Love that video/ I just use a few drops baby oil, or mineral oil, to babies scalp and brush babies hair with tips of fingers or baby brush and babys hair looks straight and shiney. Dont forget to tell Brinsley, did I spell that right didnt I, just her how beautiful she is to you so her subconscious mind can never forgets how much you love her. Other wise we tend to forget, we never want to take love for granted.Shes so cuute!!!
