That video will give you a lot of great information and thoughts for how to do more sawing on this mill. Looks like a fun project, and you will get some good lumber for building.. a walkway, at least. 😉🙂 The jerking and banging may be something like a piece of cloth or belting under the sawyers cab. Can see something under there flopping around.
Yes sir it is! I'm wanting to do that very soon and I'm going to start on a shed this year also. I actually fell off there a couple weeks back, thank the Lord I didn't hit my head and get hurt. Thanks for watching and commenting
Shannon I really enjoy watching you tune up an set back to working the old McCoy mill. Sure is a learning process for me! I learn something every day I saw. Hey that lower set of dogs seems to grab at the log rather than push in and slip by. Watch Marks, maybe they were replaced for a reason or that’s how they should be? Seemed those were grabbing half assed too low and not letting that top dog work properly, least from the camera angle, they don’t show the whole picture. Nice work fellas, be well.
You're all over it, Rob, a few weeks ago I couldn't clamp down a 3" board and I needed to cut a big order of 3" batten. So, I added to them which works great for that but it is causing a great big problem letting the top dogs clamp. I thought I would make another set original size and swap out when I needed these here. But, yeah you saw it right. I was having a time getting the top dogs to bite. I appreciate it.
Yes mam, I agree. I already recorded a video for next week and the camera is in the same spot. But we will record again next for the following weeks video and I will place the camera like you suggested. One of these days I'd like to make a camera mount like Mark Galici has. I sure do appreciate you watching and commenting though. God bless.
I sure will, Mike. I have one more video to show next week with the same view but after that I will place the camera as you suggested. I really appreciate you watching and commenting
I appreciate you watching and commenting, buddy. I'm praying you find happiness in another video of mine using a better camera angle to your liking. God bless!
