In this video, I will share the secrets of manufacturing a 10-meter radiator from budget aluminum pipes, which we will use on different ranges (repetition of the publication by Igor Goncharenko).
... For this we need the following tools:
- Aluminum pipes (diameter 25 mm, 6 pcs. 2 meters + 1 pcs. 20 mm),
- gloves
- bolts M20 and M10, collet (24 mm.),
- safety glasses, gas burner,
- litol-24,
- a grinder with an emery wheel and a hammer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
... Next, we reformat the collet into a cone using a grinder. Next, we will fit this part into the pipe (to a depth of 3 diameters) to expand one of its ends. Then, with the help of know-how, we will free ourselves from the tightly sown collet.
... At the end of the 1st part of the video, the entire structure of 5 pipes will be lifted up and flirtatiously flirting in the sky, it will produce an indelible, bewitching sight ...
... In the second part of the video, we will make the construction of a truss of timber, in which we place a grid of wires, etc.
... And in the 3rd final clip we’ll test various options for matching the antenna with radio communication (dx!).
