I don't understand this narcissistic obsession with one's sexuality when it like everything is none of one's personal business. It's not something one should be concerned with. Sex is incidental and private not to be concerned with. One is expected to go about their lives not concerned with their so-called "true-self" as if it's something one should look at or nail down. That's none of one's business. To be concerned with it is selfish. It's something one should be oblivious to and be tangential to tending to things bigger than "self". I raised my children on a farm amongst Amish and a Mennonites attended liturgy at a monastery nearby year after year it was paradise then my children got cars and they needed to have a phone in order to be safe from there it was all downhill and now they have become totally anti-Christian pagans. For sure I cannot blame it all on the phone it must have something to do with myself missing something but to this day I'm not sure what it was even with the counseling of my father confessor I just don't know what happened and my heart is broken beyond repair at least at this point.

Thank you Rod for your lecture. It was quite inspiring and insightful. There are a couple of points you haven’t touched upon, which were quite important in Eastern Europe during Soviet regime. One of them was the role of the Catholic Church, which in case of Poland was the main center of protection and resistance for people who are attacked by the government Another Important factor was the role of families and transmission of history, tradition, values, and faith, and to some extent culture in families, smaller groups, parish, and other church organizations.

This is what happens when you let the bad cat out of the bag. We used to have a culture that admired and protected the family, I mean the real, human family, with a man and a woman having children and providing love and care for them whilst being role models. Then they slowly started telling us otherwise, and pretty soon those ideas ran amok, now some people believe they are the opposite of what they were born, some even say they are dogs.

The presentation given by Rod Dreher tells us all of the social warfare we as Americans have to deal with every day. As I watched the full video, I noticed that the main theme of the guest speaker was the discussion of gender-based ideologies and the deliberate targeting of children and minors. Several real-life examples were shared by Mr. Dreher from both here at home as well as from his travels abroad that illustrated how gender-based ideologies gets used to severely harm the life and health of young people. But the one thing that I didn't get to hear was an explanation as to "how" does this social phenomenon come to be. Yes, some discussion went into the gradual loss of Christian faith-based upbringing of children and, according to Mr. Dreher, this drift away from Christian ideals opens-up the opportunity for radical social ideologies to fill the void so to speak. I can definitely agree with this assessment, but I also know that there is something more to this phenomenon. I'm sure we can all agree that this issue is primarily a "young people" issue because gender-based ideologies are in-fact being used to target young men and women not older people in our society. It is this fact that made me realize the root cause of "why" and "how" young men and women fall victim to this particular social targeting. First the "why," when looking back at my own childhood I remember a common deficit amongst all of my peers and that was lacking critical-thinking skills and the cognitive ability to fully analyze ideas and concepts. I admit that as children and young people we all are more inclined to behave according to what little makes sense to us rather than anything else that we just don't understand. Secondly the "how," by now we all have become aware how gender-based ideologies gets implemented against young people. But as a young person I clearly remember the argument most young people lived by, "you can't possibly know about anything unless you go and live through it," anyone remembers this? It was true in my young life that the only way to know about something was to live through it and by doing you get to learn about it, right? Now the older we get we start to become aware that we don't have to fall in the pitfalls of life in order to learn about what awaits us should we fail to realize what it is that we're dealing with. In general. young people are susceptible to alternative lifestyles because they're living by this argument that how can they know who they are, what they are, or what they want unless they experiment and live through the pitfalls of life. As a matter of general principle, we all have to learn to live not by the pitfalls of life but through the "process of understanding" before we all commit to do something or become someone; isn't this easier said than done? Too many people manage daily existence through telling themselves lies. It is so much apart of us...even how we arrive at daily decisions to buy something that we desire rather than what we need...that it has become one of the most difficult things for people to recognise the lie. In order to "live not by lies"...you must work at becoming the "highest essence of truth" to yourself.

I would very much like to recommend the Fleming Rutledge book "The Battle for Middle-Earth". It is about "The Lord of the Rings", obviously. But we have to understand that Tolkien didn't write a "Phantasy Story". He - a devout Catholic - wrote about the battle of Good and Evil in a very real world: Middle-Earth is OUR earth just in previous times, facing the battle for freedom in the same way we are facing the battle for freedom today. When reading The Lord of the Rings guided by Rutledge's book, you can truly comprehend the mechanisms of totaliarism. You will recognise that the forces in TLotR are the forces we are facing today. I couldn't help but think of real politicians acting in the way the characters in TLotRs do.

The insidious inception of little lies has led to full blown disregard and destabilization from the individuals critical thinking into group think, and the tyranny society faces. The solution is to de-program ideological bias and teach critical thinking without indoctrinated bias-even to see this speech as only one perspective with factual bias, but not the whole truth.

We must be able to listen as well as speak before we judge. The aim is to do no harm and make things better where possible for individuals and society.. We have to understand the science too, though. You can be a male with what you perceive as a female brain and vice versa. Your hormones, however, will not be the same. Hormones tremendously influence who you are . Your thoughts, actions, and feelings are all influenced by your hormones. When you alter hormones, you alter your personality, your sexual drive, your level of aggression, your opinions, your thoughts etc. . If you mess with theses you are not really the same, you anymore. If you are not the same, you anymore, how do you know, down the line, if you will still want to be in a new gender alligned body? How will you know how to behave and how will others know how to behave towards you. It will be a process. A long, hard one. It will also be very difficult to get to know someone as a partner when you don't really know yourself. It will take years to adjust to your new body and self. You may never adjust. All this must be considered before surgery is contemplated. Im not sure this is done or explained to patients. Maybe society should be taught to accept people whose brains are not alligned and not force them into considering surgery to fit in. You are you, and you are good just the way you are. We must teach the bullies this. If you destroy you. I'm not sure you will ever find yourself again very easily. You will have to accept what you created. Why then not just accept the original you? It may be the lesser burden. I don't know, though, as Im not you, but I do care that you are well advised.

We are not creeping towards totalitarianism. In terms of transgenderism our culture is simply reacting to the new-found ability for us to use medicine and surgery to make one gender look like another. If you don't like it, go ahead and say so. But don't play the totalitarian card. This will play out over time and our free society will be intact.

Freedom of expression is liberal. It's freedom. You can't make freedom of others into declaration that their freedom is "totalitarianism".
