Many Tatars are living in Finland. They are excellent people. I lived many years in the same house with Hamidulla Hisamedtin. He once gave me a huge pike, that he had angled. We Finnish people use to say: "How one shouts into the forest, it echoes back". It means: Good people are treated well, and there is plenty of room in the forest for bad people.
Wish I could say the same about America. On a whole, we are moving in the right direction though despite what is seen on TV and particularly from our current president
If the Tatar in the next door doesn't move away, or learn how to live in an apartment like a human being, I'm going to smoke him out in couple of weeks. So no, not welcome here.

Brack Wasser Tatars were Turks not mongol The name Tatar first appeared among nomadic tribes living in northeastern Mongolia and the area around Lake Baikal from the 5th century CE. Unlike the Mongols, these peoples spoke a Turkic language, and they may have been related to the Cuman or Kipchak peoples. After various groups of these Turkic nomads became part of the armies of the Mongol conqueror Genghis Khan in the early 13th century, a fusion of Mongol and Turkic elements took place, and the Mongol invaders of Russia and Hungary became known to Europeans as Tatars (or Tartars). www.britannica.com/topic/Tatar But many tatars got mongolized after mongol empire
Brack Wasser The word Turk is way older than mongol Turk (n.) c. 1300, from French Turc, from Medieval Latin Turcus, from Byzantine Greek Tourkos, Persian turk, a national name, of unknown origin. Said to mean "strength" in Turkish. Compare Chinese tu-kin, recorded from c. 177 B.C.E. as the name of a people living south of the Altai Mountains (identified by some with the Huns). www.etymonline.com/word/turk
"We are a tolerant people", "we are the indigenous people of Crimea" - lmao tell that to the Goths in Crimea (who arrived 200 years prior to any Turkic peoples) who were enslaved by the Tatar and sold to the ottomans
@@zrc6116 Basically the modern Crimea "tatars" are just a bunch of various local people (goths, greeks, alans) that were assimilated and converted into islam. It is largely confirmed by genetics. Turkic people (cumans) lived in Crimea before Crimea was captured by the Ottoman Empire, the peninsula was divided on various parts, cumans lived mostly in the northern part (steppe), and goths lived on the southern one.

I'm sorry that the Crimean people suffered. They seem like smart and gentle people. I'm Armenian and we have had the same problem starting from the late 19th century.
When the NAZIs invaded Crimea in 1941, thousands of Crimean-Tartars helped them. More than nine thousand Tartars voluntarily formed two Tartar-NAZI brigades. These Crimean-Tartars fought and killed Soviet soldiers. As these Crimean-Tartars had been citizens of the USSR, they were traitors. Also, these brigades participated in the slaughter of Jews in Simferopol in 1941 and 1942. The expulsion of the Crimean Tartars by Stalin was criminal, tragic and disgusting -- but Stalin had a reason.
@mahmut mahmutoglu Y'know, I am happy to discuss other crimes. But this site concerns Crimean Tatars, so that's what I am discussing. Rather than muddy the waters by bringing up other subjects, why don't you check the facts? For example, I said that nine thousand Crimea Tatars served in two Tatar-NAZI brigades. Why don't you check this? And, BTW, I am not white, if by that you mean Anglo-Nordic etc.
It's funny how soviets back then and muscovites now don't want to accept they are colonialist occupiers. Like with Ukrainians, they will point out how peoples liberated from their rule joined up with their liberators, as if that makes them bad people.
